RyanC883 Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 In order for "IT" to happen, there would have to be at least a -3 net turnover for the B.Lo, which isn't our style. The upside is A.Lynn might see how good Pryor is and convert TT to a slot guy/wildcat/option/3rd down specialist next year. Remember, this game is supposed to be FUN people..... love the part about it being FUN. Personally I want to see TT throw 40 passes. And have EJ come in, TT out wide, and throw TT the ball. That won't happen due to injury concerns. But bring in EJ on 4th down, hard count till 2 seconds left, and throw to a receiver. The Bills have way more talent than the Browns and wouldn't you expect that the Bills will play their asses off Sunday? I think the Bills will win big but that won't matter all that much. The Bills will win big, and Rex will go off on how it was a "statement" win or some such nonsense.
C.Biscuit97 Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 OMG! Even worse than the Bills sucking every year are these threads! I'm so done with this team!!! This is the worst loss ever!!! This player is horrible and needs to be cut!!! Sadly if they lose, it will be a good thing. Moral victories are like a girl you are in love with saying you are a good friend.
atlbillsfan1975 Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 You young kids don't know the dark days of this franchiseBologna. To know how bad it is you have to know how good it can be. Anyone over the age of 35 can recall the SB years and also knows the 15+ years of playoff drought.
vorpma Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 Yes, but even during the 70's and early 80's between a bunch of terrible season there were a couple playoff appearances. Simpson also did some incredible stuff on the field back in those days. During this 17 year playoff drought there have been no playoffs. These last 17 years have been the worst in franchise history imo. Agree
papazoid Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 the "darkest" day in history was AVOIDED when the Pegula's became owners.
jms62 Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 No, June 17 1994. Deep reference but certainly one of them.
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 You young kids don't know the dark days of this franchise the days of Barber as GM
I'm Spartacus Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 the days of Barber as GM The days of Buster Ramsey as the first Bills coach!
The Crowing Rooster Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 (edited) 1968, 1971, 1976, 1977, 1984, and 1985. It's a tie between 1971 and 1985; 1968 was thrown out due to injuries to over six Quarterbacks leading to a reserve wide receiver, Ed Rutkowski starting the last five games. Ha Harvey Johnson, Kay Stephensen, and Hank Boullough as head coaches. Don't forget the forgettable John Rauch. Who was so bad that Harvey Johnson was brought back to replace him.. Fadingpain Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 Darkest day in the history of the franchise? This franchise has provided such a rich banquet to choose from, it's almost impossible to select the darkest day.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 What IT is referred to here? A loss to Cleveland? The entire 1983-86 seasons were pretty dark, the late 60's early 70's were pretty dark and the loss to Pittsburgh a few years back to keep us from finally breaking the streak (though at that point it was a baby streak) was really dark. ^^^ this is what I was thinking. if losing to Cleveland gets us new coaches then I'm all for it.
DC Tom Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 Darkest day in the history of the franchise? Of course not. Winning only hurts the franchise.
dpberr Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 No. Darkest days were the days after the Music City Miracle. The decisions made by the franchise after that game served as the ignition point for nearly two decades without playoffs. I bet that would be a riveting documentary to watch.
Formerly Allan in MD Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 Darkest day in the history of the franchise? Wouldn't come close.
