Buffalo Beeeews Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 Darkest day in the history of the franchise?
Beef Jerky Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 (edited) Nope every year since 1999 has been just as bad. If it happens next week it will actually be one of the great days in franchise history... Hopefully. I don't want to Pegulas to mess up twice. Maybe this time they tell Russ to sit this decision out. nucci Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 You young kids don't know the dark days of this franchise
Beef Jerky Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 (edited) You young kids don't know the dark days of this franchiseDark days get erased when people have also lived through the great days. Those young fans have never even see great days. Think about it in 2 years fans that are 18 will never have seen the Bills go into the playoffs their whole childhood. Longest playoff drought in NFL history... These are dark days. Edited December 14, 2016 by Beef Jerky
chaccof Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 What IT is referred to here? A loss to Cleveland? The entire 1983-86 seasons were pretty dark, the late 60's early 70's were pretty dark and the loss to Pittsburgh a few years back to keep us from finally breaking the streak (though at that point it was a baby streak) was really dark.
quinnearlysghost88 Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 This would be extremely dark. Losing at home to a 0-13 team would be embarrassing and demoralizing and the most likely outcome.

Good point.....I've seen it all.....well starting around 1966 Edited December 14, 2016 by nucci
vorpma Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 You young kids don't know the dark days of this franchise 1968, 1971, 1976, 1977, 1984, and 1985. It's a tie between 1971 and 1985; 1968 was thrown out due to injuries to over six Quarterbacks leading to a reserve wide receiver, Ed Rutkowski starting the last five games. Webster Guy Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 In order for "IT" to happen, there would have to be at least a -3 net turnover for the B.Lo, which isn't our style. The upside is A.Lynn might see how good Pryor is and convert TT to a slot guy/wildcat/option/3rd down specialist next year. Remember, this game is supposed to be FUN people.....
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 84 and 85 were long term successes because they infused the team with a ton of talent in the following drafts

These are bleak days -much like the entire run of those clown uniforms we wore for a decade -but Dark Days are still waaay back there.

Yes, but even during the 70's and early 80's between a bunch of terrible season there were a couple playoff appearances. Simpson also did some incredible stuff on the field back in those days. During this 17 year playoff drought there have been no playoffs. These last 17 years have been the worst in franchise history imo.
I'm Spartacus Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 Don't worry. "It" will be cancelled due to the snow storm....
KD in CA Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 Darkest day in the history of the franchise? Seriously? It wouldn't even make the list.
DriveFor1Outta5 Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 Darkest day in the history of the franchise? No, June 17 1994.
26CornerBlitz Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 Darkest day in the history of the franchise? Not even close: http://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/buf/
keepthefaith Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 The Bills have way more talent than the Browns and wouldn't you expect that the Bills will play their asses off Sunday? I think the Bills will win big but that won't matter all that much.
