Bleeding Bills Blue Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 Why spend a bunch of money on a crappy QB, when we can just draft a crappy QB? The first 2 picks of the draft look pretty crappy - the Jets are terrible and won't even dress their crappy QB. And now Dak is starting to look like Tyrod.
dubs Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 (edited) No quick easy fixes unfortunately. That's what's gotten the Bills into this mess. Gotta draft at least one. Maybe two. Worked out pretty well for the Redskins. In fact, I think the Bills best bet is to get a guy like Cousins in the early to middle rounds (not first hopefully not second). A guy who maybe has something that holds him back from a super high grade (height, or elite arm strength) but is smart, accurate, has a quick release, and is fairly mobile. I think that's the recipe for the Bills. Who that is, I have no idea. But that's the model I'd follow. I believe QBs get overvalued on size and strength metrics and undervalued on the less tangible characteristics. Edited December 16, 2016 by dubs
C.Biscuit97 Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 I am very down on Tyrod but it is laughable people think Cutler is a starter in this league. He never wins, throws stupid ints at terrible times, & is a huge d bag. But other than that, he is awesome.
Marv's Neighbor Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 Time to watch IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE again. Or just jump off the bridge..
dezertbill Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 Jay Cutler is horrible value for the contract he is being paid. Plus, his nonchalant attitude would completely turnoff fans and make any struggles worse.
Formerly Allan in MD Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 What's with the Shanahan love? He was only a winner because of John Elway and has been fired twice since Elway retired. He ruined Griffin's career by playing him when he was already seriously injured, which led to him being dragged off the field with a gruesome injury. Then he held RGIII out of the following training camp, yet started him in the season opener, with no preparation, which led to a new injury in no time. Poor judgement means poor judgement. Overrated means overrated. You want a no nonsense coach, pay whatever Belichick shows interest in.

D. L. Hot-Flamethrower Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 I'd prefer Kyle Shanahan and see what he could do with the QBs. Unless we can swing a top QB somehow. Regardless, we still need to win games next year and keep searching for the QB of the future.
Webster Guy Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 Where the fascination with Cutler comes from I don't know. Let Cleveland have him. He has a cannon arm and once in awhile makes spectacular throws, but he's weenie. wouldn't last a day in B.lo
Mike in Horseheads Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 The "Red Lobster" (MS) has only won when he Elway, we have no Elway and Cutler is no Elway. NO an NO.
nuklz2594 Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 it ain't rocket surgery......no.no.no to cutler.
