12-12: ERIC WOOD ON WGR (18:35)

Eric Wood joining Schopp and the Bulldog now!

Wood- "I just assumed we'd get it going, and unfortunately we got it going way too late into the game."

Wood on Rex rumors- "I assume most guys wouldn't have saw that. Once you get your gloves on you're not messing with your phone anyway."

Wood- "I'm at the point of my career where I'm not looking backwards to go forwards. As a player I'm only focus on going out an winning."

Wood-"As a professional it's you job to go play your best every week whether the playoffs are on the line or you're playing a winless team."

Wood- "I think the effort was high and the execution was poor."

Wood- "I would've liked to see Shady get going yesterday. I know what he did in the snow a few years ago in Philadelphia."

Eric Wood on if there needs to be big changes with Bills: "I hope not....." then added the rest....

Rex Ryan: "Whatever It Takes to Win These Games" (19:09)

HC Rex Ryan addressed the media topics include; inconsistent play on both sides of the ball, playing younger players, and focusing on the next three games.

 

Rex: "I have the final say in who is out there (at QB). That doesn't mean I don't take input." Says Whaley hasn't given input on issue

Rex has used phrase "my opinion" and "I have final say" regarding Taylor starting at QB. Interesting.

Rex says he talks to Pegulas every week. Fridays and Mondays. Will do so today as usual.

Rex says he won't rule out playing younger players once team is officially eliminated from playoffs.

 

12-12: REX RYAN ON WGR (10:09)

Rex announcing that Tyrod Taylor will start on Sunday. He joins Schopp and the Bulldog next!

Rex on if there's been internal discussion over starting QB- "No. Absolutely not."

Rex on friction with Whaley- "That's totally false, we're 6-7 and that comes out of left field, but there's no truth to that what so ever."

Rex on his defense- "I truly believe we're close, and sometimes you can be close, and look so far away."

Rex on Hughes- "We were trying to get our #1 draft pick more playing time, and to do so we were going to rotate those 3 guys."

Rex- "I guess you'll have to ask Jerry or you'll have to ask my brother, but I don't believe that ever happened."

Rex on hot seat- "Anytime you get those reports out there, but I saw Terry, Doug, and Russ face to face today. It was business as usual."

 

Sammy Watkins: "Focus on the Game" (2:32)

WR Sammy Watkins addressed the media inside the locker room topics include; leaving plays out there, weather conditions, and focusing on the rest of the season.

I listened to the WGR interview with Rex. He restated the "we're so close" stuff. He then cited the bad defense of the 1983 Bears.

 

At this point I just find it sad.
