YoloinOhio Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 (edited) http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/12/12/dodgeball-among-new-additions-to-pro-bowl-schedule/ The league will hold a Skills Showdown on Thursday, January 26 involving players selected to the AFC and NFC teams for this years game. The game and the new event will be held in Orlando, Florida. The new competition will include four events. There will be a dodgeball game between members of the teams, a relay race, a precision passing contest and a challenge for quarterbacks and wide receivers that will see them try to "complete as many pass attempts as possible before time runs out". What a Tuel Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 Is this what people said they should do? I've got to be honest, I'd like to see them play dodgeball haha.
PromoTheRobot Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 How about making the NFL pro bowlers play the NHL All-Star game and visa versa? I'd watch that.
mob16151 Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 This just sounds like knee injuries waiting to happen.
The Frankish Reich Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 sadAs long as it gets surprisingly good ratings (why, I do t know - I distinctly remember the last one I watched in its entirety was when OJ got the MVP in a scintillating AFC win), the NFL will not pull the plug on this worst-of-a-terrible-lot all star games ...
Jobot Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 Start out with a $10-million pot up for grabs. First half of play, both teams can accrue as much money as possible (e.g. FF style, yards/pts/catches/sacks/int all worth set dollar amounts) Second half of play, all money is taken from the other side via yard and point differential. (e.g. an AFC interception would result in money transferred from the NFC bank to the AFC bank) Money is divided evenly among the players at the end of the game. ...I'm pretty proud of myself right now, I think I just fixed the pro-bowl
K-9 Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 How about making the NFL pro bowlers play the NHL All-Star game and visa versa? I'd watch that. How about making the NFL Pro Bowlers actual pro bowlers by having them square off in a winner take all keggling tourney?
YoloinOhio Posted December 12, 2016 Author Posted December 12, 2016 How about making the NFL pro bowlers play the NHL All-Star game and visa versa? I'd watch that.Richie on skates lmao
Blokestradamus Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 The NFL with this and the looking into relaxing the rules on cleats are essentially an erratic girlfriend that's realised her man has about had enough and is trying new things while screaming "PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME!!!" I like it.
boyst Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 How about making the NFL Pro Bowlers actual pro bowlers by having them square off in a winner take all keggling tourney? wanna watch cordy Glenn do keggles?
stevestojan Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 It's a bold strategy, Cotton, let's see if it pays off for 'em.
Mr. WEO Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 How about making the NFL pro bowlers play the NHL All-Star game and visa versa? I'd watch that. The Pro Bowl gets better ratings than the Stanley Cup finals games. You would be the only one watching the hockey game...
Best Player Available Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/12/12/dodgeball-among-new-additions-to-pro-bowl-schedule/ Yikes,so good chance that Tyrod makes it in this year As the 17th alternate. The NFL seems to be reaching now for this annual snoozefest.
