Week 15 predictions (ESPN Insider)

Good seats available in expected Bills rout

Both our Browns and Bills reporters expect a blowout at New Era Field. So does ESPN's FPI, giving the Bills this week's largest winning chance. Maybe that explains why tickets are reportedly going for as low as $7.

BROWNS AT BILLS

Cleveland Browns

Hue Jackson is demanding better play from Robert Griffin III, but it's tough to see that happening in a week. The Browns' primary motivation is avoid an 0-16 season, but their FPI percentage to win this game is just 11.3, so they're facing 0-14 square in the face. Bills 24, Browns 9 -- Pat McManamon

Buffalo Bills

My prediction might have been different if Cardale Jones or EJ Manuel were starting at quarterback, but with Tyrod Taylor remaining the starter, the Bills are putting their best foot forward to win a largely meaningless game. With Sammy Watkins and Robert Woods playing in only their fourth game together this season, Taylor should be able to take advantage of the Browns' defense, which allows 7.5 yards per pass attempt -- the second-worst mark in the NFL. Bills 27, Browns 17 -- Mike Rodak

Week 15 picks, guaranteed to win you some extra money for the holidays.* (*this is false) http://www.si.com/nfl/2016/12/16/week-15-nfl-picks-predictions-schedule

The Bills’ Marcell Dareus guaranteed victory here, so perhaps that adds a little juice. Otherwise, there’s not much moving the needle. Buffalo would love to turn LeSean McCoy loose on Cleveland’s awful run defense, hold the ball for about 40 minutes and call it a day. For the Browns to hang, they’ll need a lot more chemistry between Robert Griffin III and his wide receivers. Corey Coleman and Terrelle Pryor were targeted a combined 14 times last week, resulting in four catches for 34 yards.

Watchability Index: 2. Unless you believe the Bills can a) run the table and b) make the playoffs at 9–7 (the latter is unlikely), this game actually carries more weight in terms of draft positioning.

Here are five things to watch for against the Browns:

1. How far can LeSean McCoy carry the offense?

2. Will Kyle Williams being back fix the run defense?

3. Will the Bills hold a contest to play safety?

4. How does Cyrus Kouandjio hold up?

5. How many people actually show up?
