Buffalo Barbarian Posted December 10, 2016 Posted December 10, 2016 @SInow The NFL will play FOUR games in London next season http://on.si.com/2hcKAJo @ChrisBurke_SI Chris Burke Retweeted Sports Illustrated Saints-Dolphins is one, Jaguars will be there again. Rest TBD. I like it or is the NFL really the NWO
KD in CA Posted December 10, 2016 Posted December 10, 2016 Yes which is why they should make Shahid Khan ambassador to England. With breakup there does Scotland get their own ambassador? Ambassador to Scotland....how do I apply for that gig!
T master Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 Rogers greed to spread the NFL out to other country's will be the death of it just like MLB adding a S**T Ton of games to make more money how's that working out ??
KD in CA Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 Rogers greed to spread the NFL out to other country's will be the death of it just like MLB adding a S**T Ton of games to make more money how's that working out ?? Spectacularly well actually.
jr1 Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 if you want to grow the league why send the Jags?
iinii Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 Say hello to the London Jaguars, the Shanghia Chargers and the Mexico City Raiders
Nanker Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 4 Professional Football games in London? That's almost as many as there will be in Buffalo.
Cripple Creek Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 Rogers greed to spread the NFL out to other country's will be the death of it just like MLB adding a S**T Ton of games to make more money how's that working out ?? Spectacularly well actually. yeah, just a bit. BTW, how long has the MLB season been 162 games?
KD in CA Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 yeah, just a bit. BTW, how long has the MLB season been 162 games? I assume he was referring to the added playoff rounds, but still, you gotta be in a bubble to miss the kind of tear baseball has been on this century.
Cripple Creek Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 I assume he was referring to the added playoff rounds, but still, you gotta be in a bubble to miss the kind of tear baseball has been on this century. I didn't get that, but, you must be right. Yeah, that league is in great shape.
YoloinOhio Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 @salsports No surprise, but Bills won't be playing in London next year. Here are the four matchups: Ravens v Jags Saints v Fish Vikes v Browns Cardinals v Rams
Saxum Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 (edited) Interestingly the Bills are not playing in London in 2017 but they choose to include a very messed up fan in article; I assume it came from Jaguars - Bills game last year. Just because he has a Union Jack painted on his face there is no guarantee he is a local. http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/18268689/why-more-london-games-nfl-eyeing-400-million-worldwide-fans-2016 The NFL games in London have been well attended by locals. Over 29 years of fanhood Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 Jacksonville is going to move their franchise to London. Book it. Seems they are there every year and DJ Shah Is into London. I buy it

Hammered a Lot Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 I am sure the teams and the players like the revenue however. The players how so? What's the tax rate?
Saxum Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 The players how so? What's the tax rate? That is not the point - the NFL does revenue sharing so all of the players get a cut even if players sent to game complain about being taxed at England rate. I wonder if you are inactive for a London game are you charged London tax rate? Does it depend if you are travelling with team?
run dat back Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 West coast viewers do not share this sentiment. I've been very vocal about my disdain for the London series. Soon enough every team will be playing a home game internationally! Sorry, gotta quadruple dat revenue somehow.
BobbyC81 Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 it stinks that they wont be the AM games any more. I kind of dug that Speaking from the West coast, where those games started at 6 AM, I only got up to watch that stupid stream-only Bills game, which I couldn't record. @salsports No surprise, but Bills won't be playing in London next year. Here are the four matchups:Ravens v Jags Saints v Fish Vikes v Browns Cardinals v Rams Some real attractive match ups there, maybe Saints/Fish.
Hardcore Bills Fan Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 This is why I really hate Goodell. Europe teams dont work so hurt the NFL fans by this wasted series? What is the point of these games? Mexico and Canada I sort of understand but over seas?
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 thank goodness! So long as the games are on at 1 PM and on Direct-TV, this does not affect me. That 9 am jags/bills yahoo stream was the worst. only good thing from that is it gave me a negotiation point with directv that not ALL NFL games were on
