If that's true, then how do any Bills' players excel?

Harvin how is that specifics

Agree

Harvin!! How is that

Not very good. How did Harvin hurt the Bills this year?

Why? May be some details on what this spending has prohibited them from doing. And please be specific.

No. This shows that New England has the GOAT QB to build a roster around.

And that they don't have to overpay FA's because of it. They also get their HoF QB at below market pay.

He took up 1/155th of the Bills salary cap. They could have used that money one a new washing machine in the team room.

Cash depends a lot on signing bonuses. Bills decided to start to spend and get up towards the cap, while some of the other teams haven't needed to dole out huge signing bonuses. Not sure this means all that much honestly.

New England is in the bottom five for spenders. This shows that regardless of the spend, it is the coaches and the system that create a winning culture. We could spend twice as much and Rex would screw it up. He's a below .500 coach and needs to be cut along with the rest of the front office.

If we are going to spend $75m more than the Patriots, let's at least spend it on proper coaches, conditioning and training.

NE doesn't overspend because they don't have to. It doesn't matter who you surround Brady with, he will execute. Bad defense? Don't worry, Brady will out score them. and this is with Brady purposely not taking his market value.

NE doesn't over spend because they don't WANT to.

belichick would rather trade out of the 1st round and pick up an extra 3rd or 4th round pick. he would rather trade an upcoming superstar before he has to pay big bux (see Jamie Collins to Cleveland, chandler jones to Arizona).

it's about spreading out the salary cap and risk of injury over several players instead of one high priced player.

like the Bills are paying dearly for Sammy Watkins injury tying up 2 first round picks. in new England that would be two seconds and two third rounders (4 players vs 1)

So what?

You tell me another way to entice players to pay New York taxes, play for an average team, and live in Buffalo when they could go to places like Miami and Los Angeles.

Great point since the Chargers and Fins are annul powerhouses and the Green Bay and Pittsburghs of the world suck!

For the millionth time, overspending is football is the dumbest way to build a team. It remains good drafting, using FA to supplement your roster, & not overpaying for guys onthe downside of their careers.

Terry isn't cheap and neither was Ralph, but money doesn't equal winning in the NFL. Ask that dork owner in DC.

So for years we are too cheap. Now we spend to much according to Fans

Since Whaley has been GM how many high priced UFAs have we signed? One - Clay.

Majority of that spending has been locking up your own that you identified in the draft i.e. Like the Packers and Steelers of the world do
