jr1 Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 lol I thought Carr's finger was bothering him and the defense would hold
Best Player Available Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 @SprowESPN #Raiders were 0-72(!) when trailing by 15+ points over the last 15 years entering today, per @ESPNStatsInfo. Now 1-72. Well there's that. Add that too not winning in Oakland since 1966
PO16FFS Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 Well there's that. Add that too not winning in Oakland since 1966 Ive always said this: Need to break a record, a streak or have a career day, just play the Bills!
Not at the table Karlos Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 After the wildcat, wildcat, fail? Me too. same here. That was terrible.
Nihilarian Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 Everyone was saying if this defense can hold the Raiders in the first half to only 3 FG's it should be a win... Then the second half started with another big run from Shady and a TD by Tyrod and it was 24 to 9 as all Bills fans were giddy with delight! Suddenly the Bills offense couldn't run, and couldn't pass and the defense started rushing only three. The result of that was 4 Raider TD's 38-24 win. What the hell happened to the defense that held them to FG's in the first half and the Shady that was running wild for 130 yards and Gillisilee who was unstoppable?
cale Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 Right I'm not sure we can beat the Browns. They'll get off the schneid with us.
Wilton Bills Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 Realistically, totally expected. We really do have a horrible defensive scheme, And with a quarterback that seems to have a run first, can"t pick down field receivers mentality, it is a total recipe for disaster.
4merper4mer Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 As soon as they drove right down the field and scored after that I knew it was over. Once it became a shootout I knew we weren't going to compete. We don't have a QB Did we have a QB while we were going up 15? He sucked the rest of the way but with the Rex D, against a decent or better offense unless we're up about 35, the game is in doubt. When was the last turnover we created?
Dragonborn10 Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 I thought they had it. I thought Rex would start to bring pressure and they would get a turnover. This loss is all on Rex. Yes, I'm over TT as well now. He made some nice enough throws early but was terrible in the second half.
Nick the Greek Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 The implosion was incredible. We looked good! And we were leading after the Raiders made their halftime adjustments. How did they score 4 TOUCHDOWNS in a row? I mean, at least sprinkle at FG in there once in awhile.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 They seem to do this often. Offense goes into a shell after we go up. I found it odd that we go wildcat at the critical series in the game.
1st Ammendment NoMas Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 24-9 and I said to myself, "if they don't go up 31-9 entering the 4th, we are going to lose." Little did I imagine getting tagged for 38. I was thinking one of those Bills 26-24 losses with Janikowski hitting a 50+ yarder as time runs out. Either way more Bills suckage to piss me off.
norton20 Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 ZERO pass rush. Horrifying QB play the last quarter and a half. Bad special teams. Lots of blame to go around. They are what their record says they are.
1st Ammendment NoMas Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 He sucked the rest of the way but with the Rex D, against a decent or better offense unless we're up about 35, the game is in doubt. When was the last turnover we created? DING DING!!!! when was the last turnover, big play, sack on defense. They sit back and get picked apart. It is disgusting.
zonabb Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 I said 20, no joke, to the three guys I was out with. I was wrong but not by much. Team is the outlier, year after year, when it cones to what should happen. They continue, to miraculuosly, overcome the 95% probability and be the 5% improbability. TT can't make a single damn play when trailing and the D can't hold a lead.
4merper4mer Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 DING DING!!!! when was the last turnover, big play, sack on defense. They sit back and get picked apart. It is disgusting. Don't worry. We can get more of Rex's son's friends from the Clemson frat house in the first round then wonder where the hell they are all year. Wait. Is Rex's kid draft eligible?
CSBill Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 They seem to do this often. Offense goes into a shell after we go up. I found it odd that we go wildcat at the critical series in the game. We would call that a choke. They were cruising up to that point, then I have no idea what happened, Tyrod couldn't hit a barn, the line couldn't run block, the Defense completely collapsed, and the coaching decisions again seemed dumb.
Offside Number 76 Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 How much did you guys think we were going to lose by? I was with a date-- a Giants fan. She was upset because Pit was up 12-0 or something. Oakland was about to score, and I told her, hey, the Bills are going to lose this, too. She said, what, they're up big. I said, trust me, they're going to lose. At least we're seeing each other again.
YoloinOhio Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 I thought we would win but it would be close. Don't blink! Sheesh.
