DC Greg Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 Difference between a good team and a loser mentality team like us. Raiders went for it. We were trying to kill the clock and get to halftime. Rex is too conservative. Gets you nowhere. Correct. Making .500 decisions, not playoff decisions
Fadingpain Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 Would the Bills have been able to what the Raiders just did? I think not. Nope. A quick drive like that with good clock management is not within Rex and Tyrod's skill sets.
xsoldier54 Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 Typical Bills football. Couldn't kill the clock at the end of the half and it cost them 3 points. Why is it that they are so terrible at situational football?
Augie Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 If we win the 1st half, and they win the second, can we call it a tie?
DC Greg Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 Typical Bills football. Couldn't kill the clock at the end of the half and it cost them 3 points. Why is it that they are so terrible at situational football? Answer: coaching.
Beef Jerky Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 Wow how much are we down by?? This board is flipping out. The Bills looked like they have fallen apart.
Fadingpain Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 Icing any NFL kicker is silly. But it's what qualifies as advanced thinking from coaches like Rex. Beat me to the punch here.
Freddie's Dead Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 We don't deserve to win this game. Ridiculous play-calling on the last offensive series, then a BS prevent which handed the Raiders 3 points. We had these guys down, but failed to choke them out. If we lose this game, I'm back on the Fire Rex bandwagon. These last three minutes are Rex in a nutshell, and why we will never win with him coaching.
KRT88 Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 And that is how this team drives you nuts They've been doing that for 16 seasons
CommonCents Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 Well should never have given them the ball back. Gotta play better there. I agree but I'm the statements that the 3 man fronts aren't working are simply false. They slowed one of the most best offensive units in the NFL through 2 quarters. Crabtree dropped a touchdown...Gilmore had a bad PI and Lorax didn't get home on the QB...yet
K-9 Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 This first half failure is ENTIRELY on Tyrod Taylor. Misses wide open Goodwin on first drive and can't execute a two minute offense to save his life. Coaches have no confidence in him. And for good reason. Runs into sacks and is afraid to throw to tightly covered receivers.
GunnerBill Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 Need to come and out and start the 2nd half like we did last week. Â Overall that is still a good half. Lets respond!
TPS Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 Coach Sal: They were playing prevent offense and prevent defense.
gr8billsfan Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 Where has Justin Hunter been? He's been targeted twice and he should be the #2 guy on most of the passing plays.
