John from Riverside Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 Sounds like it is not his call. Good. Do the right thing Bills, you protected yourself with the Out. Use it. The smart move might be to renegotiate the deal and draft a QB
BringBackOrton Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 Cannot miss those from a clean pocket with an open WR. Has to be a TD there. Agreed. I thought you were commenting on the wide open WR on the opposite side of the field.
MAJBobby Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 The smart move might be to renegotiate the deal and draft a QB Get him here on 8M cap hit and I am ok.
John from Riverside Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 Get him here on 8M cap hit and I am ok. Regardless of what happens....I think next year should be a open competition (and not with guys like Matt Cassel) I am starting to feel like no house competation actually HURT Tyrod.....he was playing better at this time last year.
26CornerBlitz Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 Agreed. I thought you were commenting on the wide open WR on the opposite side of the field. I have no issue with the decision since he never looked Goodiwn's way, but the throw.....Arghhhhh!

No dude. A year of tape is what hurt Tyrod. I have no issue with the decision since he never looked Goodiwn's way, but the throw.....Arghhhhh! Very frustrating. Would've been worse if he never even saw it and instead checked to McCoy, so I'm trying to give him some credit for an early ball.
TC in St. Louis Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 He has shown no ability to bring the team back in close games against good competition. He was awful against Miami and Oakland. I would rather see EJ out there right now. I wouldn't bring him back. We're last in the league in passing. Sure, we have no wideouts, but there are guys open and he can't hit them.
Bleeding Bills Blue Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 Ahhhh yes I remember this one. That was his EJ out of bounds throw to a open WR ahhh memories...
Guest K-GunJimKelly12 Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 I really regret this thread, let's just say that.
26CornerBlitz Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 @mikerodak Bills QB Tyrod Taylor was recorded saying, “I’m done talking” as he walked away in frustration following his Wednesday news conference. No dude. A year of tape is what hurt Tyrod.Very frustrating. Would've been worse if he never even saw it and instead checked to McCoy, so I'm trying to give him some credit for an early ball. Granted, but finish the damned play.

reddogblitz Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 Whiskey Tango Foxtrot! @Cover1Bills Yeah... https://twitter.com/i/videos/tweet/806584238086754305 Perfect execution byHotod until he actually threw the football. You could tell from Sammy body language he's pissed.

Was he gunshy? Great route by Goodwin. https://twitter.com/i/videos/tweet/806580926952128512

Great route by Goodwin. https://twitter.com/i/videos/tweet/806580926952128512 on this play I see a RG & RT even with help from a TE get pushed right back into TT's throwing pocket....total breakdown of protection.
26CornerBlitz Posted December 8, 2016 Posted December 8, 2016 on this play I see a RG & RT even with help from a TE get pushed right back into TT's throwing pocket....total breakdown of protection. I see a QB who held the ball too long because he has no anticipation or ability to throw receivers open.
Cripple Creek Posted December 8, 2016 Posted December 8, 2016 I see a QB who held the ball too long because he has no anticipation or ability to throw receivers open. Yes. No anticipation by Taylor and Goodwin was breaking free before he broke from the pocket. Can't read a defense, can't anticipate.
papazoid Posted December 8, 2016 Posted December 8, 2016 I see a QB who held the ball too long because he has no anticipation or ability to throw receivers open. not a single WR was "open" on that play prior to the pocket collapsing.
dave mcbride Posted December 8, 2016 Posted December 8, 2016 Not to defend taylor's passing performance, but goodwin wasn't really "open." The db was in decent position to make a ply.
KOKBILLS Posted December 8, 2016 Posted December 8, 2016 I see a QB who held the ball too long because he has no anticipation or ability to throw receivers open. You pretty much expertly nailed Tyrod's deficiencies as an NFL QB in one sentence... Well done Sir!
