Get him here on 8M cap hit and I am ok.

Regardless of what happens....I think next year should be a open competition (and not with guys like Matt Cassel)

 

I am starting to feel like no house competation actually HURT Tyrod.....he was playing better at this time last year.

Agreed. I thought you were commenting on the wide open WR on the opposite side of the field.

No dude. A year of tape is what hurt Tyrod.

He has shown no ability to bring the team back in close games against good competition. He was awful against Miami and Oakland. I would rather see EJ out there right now.

I wouldn't bring him back. We're last in the league in passing. Sure, we have no wideouts, but there are guys open and he can't hit them.

on this play I see a RG & RT even with help from a TE get pushed right back into TT's throwing pocket....total breakdown of protection.

 

I see a QB who held the ball too long because he has no anticipation or ability to throw receivers open.

Yes. No anticipation by Taylor and Goodwin was breaking free before he broke from the pocket. Can't read a defense, can't anticipate.
