26CornerBlitz Posted December 1, 2016 Posted December 1, 2016 He will never be healthy..... he is a guy that is just not built for the NFL.... Please explain the basis of this conclusion.
jimmy10 Posted December 1, 2016 Posted December 1, 2016 Please explain the basis of this conclusion. Because reasons, man!
26CornerBlitz Posted December 1, 2016 Posted December 1, 2016 Because reasons, man! Well that explains it all.
MDH Posted December 1, 2016 Posted December 1, 2016 I am to the point where I think they should just shut him down and get him fully healthy TO INCLUDE monitoring his workout program through the offseason. Just too much of an investment to be doing this. And a high pick on a pass catcher in next years draft Without being a doctor who has examined his foot and has an intimate knowledge of the type of injury he has how can you (or anyone) come to any medical conclusions? As for your 2nd point, I agree. This team needs more quality WRs whether Watkins comes back healthy or not.
gordong Posted December 1, 2016 Posted December 1, 2016 Please explain the basis of this conclusion. Games played vs games not... it not like this guy is getting tackled by 300lb linemen... it's 200lb corners and safties... what is the most games he's played in a row??? Come on seriously.... what good is he if he cant play???????? Does anyone on the board think he will stay healthy enough to play 16 games next year???
Gugny Posted December 1, 2016 Posted December 1, 2016 Games played vs games not... it not like this guy is getting tackled by 300lb linemen... it's 200lb corners and safties... what is the most games he's played in a row??? Are you counting scrimmages, pre-season, regular season and post ... wait ... scratch that last one.

Come on seriously.... what good is he if he cant play???????? Does anyone on the board think he will stay healthy enough to play 16 games next year??? It's tough to say. It sucks because it's his foot and he ya know.. needs that to run. Assuming he eventually gets shut down - they do another surgery and rehab - have him skip OTAs and minicamps. Just get him ready for camp. I'd look into replacing some of this training staff too - how does this happen so poorly in a rehab? Who's handling nutrition for some of our bigger guys? Needs to be some accountability in that dept.
Joe Miner Posted December 1, 2016 Posted December 1, 2016 And a high pick on a pass catcher in next years draft Mike Williams - Clemson

You're just spouting off crap with no research. Not a good look for you. He's not the 1st got to battle injury and certainly won't be the last.
jms62 Posted December 1, 2016 Posted December 1, 2016 Please explain the basis of this conclusion. Because it is a trend that has been in motion since he joined the team. He he has been injured a very good portion of the time that he has been on the Bills. This and other things. Those that think this trend will just turn around are the ones that need to provide a basis for that conclusion. Please explain the basis of your conclusion that this trend will end? He played in 29 of his 1st 32 games. You're just spouting off crap with no research. Not a good look for you. He's not the 1st got to battle injury and certainly won't be the last. And how many of those games was he actually not listed on the injury report?

WotAGuy Posted December 1, 2016 Posted December 1, 2016 Mike Williams - Clemson Puleeze - not another Mike Williams! The last two haven't worked out so well. Same for first round Clemson guys, save for Sammy. Perry Tuttle, I'm looking at you!
26CornerBlitz Posted December 1, 2016 Posted December 1, 2016 @sammywatkins Good to get back out there... http://bit.ly/2gGlQci

Sorry if I expect more from the 4th pick in the draft., he's average at best (when he even plays) Keep drinking the Kool-aid
jms62 Posted December 1, 2016 Posted December 1, 2016 This just in....Football Players deal with injury. The bottom line is when he plays he produces. Thanks for the snarky reply. No he doesn't produce in every game he plays in that is outright bull ****. He has underperformed far more than he has performed up to his cost of 2 first round picks. Most of the time it is because he hasn't gotten the targets or he has been dinged but to say when he plays he produces as a blanket statement is patently absurd.
Gugny Posted December 1, 2016 Posted December 1, 2016 Yeah and he played hurt in how many of those games....??? Sorry if I expect more from the 4th pick in the draft., he's average at best (when he even plays) Keep drinking the Kool-aid I think it's a little silly to say he's average when he plays. His talent can't be denied.
gordong Posted December 1, 2016 Posted December 1, 2016 This just in....Football Players deal with injury. The bottom line is when he plays he produces. Produces like an AVERAGE WR.... agreed!
26CornerBlitz Posted December 1, 2016 Posted December 1, 2016 Produces like an AVERAGE WR.... agreed! Sure he does: http://www.nfl.com/player/sammywatkins/2543457/careerstats
jms62 Posted December 1, 2016 Posted December 1, 2016 I think it's a little silly to say he's average when he plays. His talent can't be denied. He has flashes and games of brillance that is for sure however the trend is not his friend at this point more and more it seems like his career will be of what could have been instead of what was accomplished. .
