GunnerBill Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 I am fine with it for today, first game back etc... that number needs to be closer to 10 next week.
Boatdrinks Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 I don't remember which quarter ( 3rd or 4th) but Bills had a critical 3rd and long and TTdidnt even look to his R at after the snap. And he held the ball for awhile. There are many times that Taylor doesn't even look in the direction of SW . It's Tyrods greatest flaw, no scanning ( or seeing) the field.
Maury Ballstein Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 We should trade him for a thicker wr who can block while TT runs in circles.
TSOL Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 Sammy is friggin good! Taylor is just so skittish to pull the trigger. I gotta think, between A Lynn and David Lee, they could work harder to coach him up to read the field, and throw, fast. Taylor has weapons now, Sammy is an incredible talent. With what we saw today, Taylors... reluctance, coaches gotta work on that. Taylor has the arm and the accuracy, enough. Hes got the weapons, hes got the talent. Its now a matter of a quicker read, and just let it fly. I gotta think Sammy was the hot read on alot more than three play calls today.
EmotionallyUnstable Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 And that guy who plays for the Giants? 40% of team receptions 49% of receiving yards Also two scores
BuffaloBillsMagic1 Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 Some way he has to get more touches.
Coach Tuesday Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 I get why they couldn't feature him in the gameplan given that they weren't sure how much he'd be able to play.
Maury Ballstein Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 And that guy who plays for the Giants? 40% of team receptions 49% of receiving yards Also two scores He would have quit football by now if he had to play w TT. He can barely contain himself w Eli.
EmotionallyUnstable Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 He would have quit football by now if he had to play w TT. He can barely contain himself w Eli. I mean, you could argue that Sammy is producing as high a percentage of receiving yardage for his team with much less of an opportunity to do so. I really dislike OBJ, and I'm not that fond of Sammy, but it is clear to me that they need to increase his touches to account for 40% of all receptions. Today that would have been 5.
klos63 Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 Sammy accumulated 25% of the team's receptions and 48% of the team's receiving yards while playing in limited action in his first game returning to action. Just saying Stop trying to make sense. this thread is no place for that. I get why they couldn't feature him in the gameplan given that they weren't sure how much he'd be able to play. and we only had 39 offensive plays, I think. Which is absurd.

Kirby Jackson Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 And that guy who plays for the Giants? 40% of team receptions 49% of receiving yards Also two scores I actually wish we had that ratio. When the Bills want to throw I can't figure out a reason that Sammy shouldn't be the first look. Throw him 10-15 balls a game (I promise Walt Powell will understand).

Moving forward he need to get the ball a whole hell of a lot more.

The next time Walt slams the door to the coaches office to B word about lack of targets will be the first time, and it better be the last time.
EmotionallyUnstable Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 I think another thing to keep in mind is not how many times he gets the ball but how these catches happen. It might just be me but I feel that too often a bills receiver catches the ball, they are either moving backward or are immediately hit. Yes, Lynne's challenge will be to get Sammy the ball but to do so with opportunity to run after the catch
26CornerBlitz Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 Tyrod only attempted 18 passes today.
The Poojer Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 Completely unacceptable, that number should be up in the hundreds Tyrod only attempted 18 passes today.

Yeah, TT isn't putting players in a position to break big plays after the catch. https://www.sportingcharts.com/nfl/stats/team-yards-after-catch-statistics/2016/
CardinalScotts Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 huge factor and the WIN or is that not the goal? is he on your fantasy team?????
