fridge Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 (edited) I was thinking a game and a half behind both of them was bad, but if the Bills are going to lose the tiebreakers anyway they might as well have the tie to keep both teams in sight. Wins is the first tie break...so if we were really trying to do something like run the tables, a tie is our best bet. If we finish with 10 or less, the tie could be insurmountable. AFC is ridiculously strong this year. Edited November 28, 2016 by fridge
The Frankish Reich Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 Watching Siemien tonight ... isn't he kind of Denver's Tyrod? Avoid interceptions, let your playmakers make the occasional play, don't be afraid to pull it down and run with it if there's no clear open receiver. He's adequate!
fridge Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 I think the answer to that is we dont know yet. If they tie and go 2-3 the rest of the way (which is really possible with their schedules) then they finish 9-6-1. If we go 10-6 we leapfrog both of them. But if either finishes with 10 wins they would be 10-5-1 and have a better w/l % Pretty much this. A tie is only going to help us if we truly run the table, or both these teams go 2-3 and we go 4-1...it just seems like a lot to ask for.

Denver's Tyrod with double the passing yards. WTF is Kubiak smoking??
MDH Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 No kidding, why attempt that FG? You're setting yourself up for a loss.
The Frankish Reich Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 Denver's Tyrod with double the passing yards. WTF is Kubiak smoking?? Against a pretty good defense too. No kidding, why attempt that FG? You're setting yourself up for a loss. Even at Mile High, this is a low percentage play ...

KD in CA Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 No kidding, why attempt that FG? You're setting yourself up for a loss. That's the worst in game decision I've seen in years. Absolutely indefensible.
bobobonators Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 That's the worst in game decision I've seen in years. Absolutely indefensible. He had a flashback to his Texans days. Horrible call
The Frankish Reich Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 That's the worst in game decision I've seen in years. Absolutely indefensible. Yeah, and given where they are in the playoff race it really makes no sense. A tie and I think they're still well positioned for that 6th playoff slot at worst. A loss and all of a sudden it's a different story.
bobobonators Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 Chiefs are luckiest sons of b*tches i know. They just win.
OhDozeBills Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 Wow that was insane. Guess we don't have to worry about tie scenarios now
DC Tom Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 "It's up...it's off the upright! No wait...it's in! !@#$!" Not only does that decision cost them, it costs them in an excruciatingly painful fashion.
fridge Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 That's the worst in game decision I've seen in years. Absolutely indefensible. Bizarre.
bobobonators Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 Some franchises are just lucky. If that was Bills the ball goes off upright and rebounds right into Rex's face. Actually no. If that was Bills the Broncos make the 62yd fg.
