Big Turk Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 They better give him a LOT of help or Tyrod might get killed next week...
Big Turk Posted November 28, 2016 Author Posted November 28, 2016 (edited) Mills isn't good at football Unfortunately Mack is...very very good...pick 6 today and game ending strip sack against Newton while being double teamed... Edited November 28, 2016 by matter2003
Captain_Quint Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 Yeah, OLeary will play a big role helping block him off the edge. Too bad Henderson cant go.
Bubba Gump Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 Pretty ironic how the kid from UB is most likely gonna end the Bills playoff chances for good and maybe end Tyrods career.
boyst Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 Mills isn't good at footballI know its not true (I mean the guy is in the NFL) but its always funny to read these comments. I'm being serious.
John from Riverside Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 They will be giving Mills a lot of help
EmotionallyUnstable Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 I've been saying for a while, since Tyrod is quick to run anyways, why not move the pocket and roll him out more? This could counter pass rushers at times without wasting additional players on protection
Kirby Jackson Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 I know its not true (I mean the guy is in the NFL) but its always funny to read these comments. I'm being serious.Let me try again: Mills isn't a good NFL player
Captain_Quint Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 I've been saying for a while, since Tyrod is quick to run anyways, why not move the pocket and roll him out more? This could counter pass rushers at times without wasting additional players on protection They did it early in the year right after they let Roman walk. I think teams are scheming on that now, with the intention of forcing him to stay in the pocket and make plays. I remember people using the term 'mobile pocket' to describe the way the guard would pull for pass blocking.
Augie Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 Let me try again: Mills isn't a good NFL player It was pretty obvious the first time. The guy is a turnstile in pass protection. You don't even have to slow down and drop a token.
boyst Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 Let me try again: Mills isn't a good NFL playerI will still laugh. I wonder if there was truly a way to quantify it. To find the most useless NFL player. It'd be like being the CEO of the 500th company in the Forbes 500

This could counter pass rushers at times without wasting additional players on protection rolling out hurts your pass protecting - unless someone is open quickly, and remember that you cut the field in half, you expose the QB to big hits.
EmotionallyUnstable Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 rolling out hurts your pass protecting - unless someone is open quickly, and remember that you cut the field in half, you expose the QB to big hits. By many accounts, TT doesn't read the whole field anyways, has a tendency to prematurely run with the ball and still takes the unnecessary big hits he shouldnt. I see what you mean but it's not like we're rolling out Peyton Manning
Rico Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 Mills is the kind of player that you pick up and plug in during the season in desperation if you have a rash of injuries, knowing full well that someone much better has to replace him the next year when you've got more time to make a move.. Yet another Whaley blunder.

I see what you mean but it's not like we're rolling out Peyton Manning I disagree that he prematurely runs. I think he is actually quite disciplined in that area. It's not a matter of not reading the whole field, it's that he has little to look at and few options. Rolling out has it's place for sure, but it's not a fixall. That's all.

You have some good points. I don't know that there is one answer. My biggest criticism for him thus far this season was that he doesn't throw his receivers open. So to me, saying he has only a few options isn't an excuse for holding onto the ball

Especially with injuries each week.
RyanC883 Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 This is going to be a disaster. Also, they have a guy named Bruce Irving, he's pretty good as well.......
