Johnny Hammersticks
I know. With all the dating apps now you can bag a cougar from your couch in a few hours, it's a shame Man....I was a young single adult at the wrong time in history. Although, I did do rather well taking home "wounded ducks" from some Monroe Ave bars in Rochester. I think getting laid is too easy now. Freaking millennials. The Jokeman
Spent a few days in Cleveland a few years ago. Really loved the art museum, great paintings and no charge to tour. My favorite place in Cleveland though was The Christmas Story Museum. It is the actual house from the movie that was used for exterior shots. The inside has been redone to look exactly like the rooms from the flick. After the tour guide gives you a brief history you are turned loose to explore the house. It's all there, dad's wrapped bowling ball, the Lifebuoy soap, the Little Orphan Annie decoder ring, Randy's spot under the sink and, of course Ralphie's Red Ryder BB Gun. We had a blast. http://www.achristmasstoryhouse.com I fully agree on their museum as I went there with the priority to see the rock n roll hof but to me the highlight of the trip was the museum of art. dhg
West Side Market. Cool old market. Highly recommend the crepes. Worth the wait. Great Lakes Brewery is right across the street. http://westsidemarket.org/ http://www.crepesdeluxe.com/ Edited November 25, 2016 by dhg
apuszczalowski
That steaming pile the Browns call homeC'Mon, it's not fair to insult the stadium, it didn't get to chose the piece of crap that would be it's tenant. I'm sure the stadium would rather implode then be the home of the Browns

Maury Ballstein
Not accurate at all. Downtown is sweet. The Q, The Jack Casino, Progressive field, and tons of solid restaurants/bars will bring me back when I have more time to explore. Passed the football hall of fame on way and back to west va, it looks like a dump.
CowgirlsFan
Pleased to hear this news. My cousin from Burleson Texas was quite impressed when he attended the Republican National Convention there. Even apologized to Mr CGF for giving him such a hard time for growing up in the Cleveland area.

Did you check out that Ohio City area and was it ok for you?

Did you check out that Ohio City area and was it ok for you? Wasn't fazed by the score lol, figured it would go down like that. Everyone at the arena was very nice from ushers to patrons around me. The Michigan fans in attendance got called up for all the time out games and got razzed by all. Was also pretty funny how they put up the Michigan logo on the big screen whenever the Mavs shot free throws to bring out the boos. Didn't have enough time to see everything. Had 3 others with me. Hit Harry Buffalo, House of Blues and the Q. Old man that sat next to me said he was staying at the ritz Carlton and saw the Mavs on his elevator. He also said the jack casino was pretty solid. Might come back in February for a concert and stay a few days. Edited November 28, 2016 by Ryan L Billz

I've lived here since the mid-nineties, not a ton of unique things but a good town with good people and interesting bars and food. Same types of folks you'd find in Buffalo (good and bad but mostly good!). Glad you had a good time. Much like Buffalo, Cleveland gets an undeserved bad rap.
