Bills Fan of St Augustine Posted November 20, 2016 Posted November 20, 2016 Missing his top 2 WRs is a big reason the offense isn't as good as it could be. And I cut TT some slack because of it. That being said, missing those guys doesn't excuse TT breaking the pocket way too early, throwing late way to often, and missing open guys with inacurate throws. The two most important things for an NFL QB IMO are quick decision making and accurate throws. This are TTs biggest weaknesses. Yeah, this sums up my feeling too. We went into the season questioning whether we had a legitimate #2 WR and we've lost both 1 and 2.Wish Hogan was still around. The TE savior is very disappointing too. Seems like we could do more with Bush? All said though, TT doesn't seem to hit the easier throws regardless of who the receiver is... Maybe call up Jerry Jones?
nucci Posted November 20, 2016 Posted November 20, 2016 we won, right? So much criticism after a big road win....amazing...how many perfect teams in this league?

Cripple Creek Posted November 20, 2016 Posted November 20, 2016 Im not right that he is missing his starting wide recievers? I most certainly am. I have seen qbs throw balls that force wr's to make adjustments all the time....even franchise qbs do that....watch more football Like I said...it is interesting that in a game where he has just a halfway healthy compliment of pass catchers and he does well......but some just cant see the correllation He is missing receivers by a wide margin on short throws. I can't believe you want to put a positive spin on that, but, have at it. Someday you'll be right about something.
jahbonas Posted November 20, 2016 Posted November 20, 2016 Missing his top 2 WR AND TOP rb HE HAS A 88 YARD drive in 4th qtr....we win....can we count the number of times he bails out the offensive line to avoid a sack and sometimes extend a drive with a scramble for 1st down? No idea what you idiots are looking at - there is no better option - ask the seattle defenders what they thought !
jahbonas Posted November 20, 2016 Posted November 20, 2016 Apparfently its too much for youto read what the defenders said via john clayton - cant teach dumb
BringBackFergy Posted November 21, 2016 Author Posted November 21, 2016 Apparfently its too much for youto read what the defenders said via john clayton - cant teach dumbThe Bengals won't be saying the same as the Seahawks.
Maury Ballstein Posted November 21, 2016 Posted November 21, 2016 The Bengals won't be saying the same as the Seahawks. The bengals defenders are too busy giving their kicker Nugent wedgies and swirlies.
KRT88 Posted November 21, 2016 Posted November 21, 2016 TT lacks one of the key skill necessary to be a truly good QB, accuracy. He also doesn't anticipate the WR's routes well enough, so he's a 1/2 second late on throws. We seen this before and by year 2 he has been solved.
manbeast Posted November 21, 2016 Posted November 21, 2016 A wide open Clay, a wide open Harvin, any WR really. He had the same deficiencies last year. 2 years so far and I still can't say, we won that game because of Taylor. It's more often than not we won that game despite Taylor. It's concerning Start Cardale Jones see what he has, first off. He hasn't cost us games more importantly and Tenn last year he pretty much won single handedly. This is the prototypical Ryan QB that even Buddy was looking for in Cunningham. TT lacks one of the key skill necessary to be a truly good QB, accuracy. He also doesn't anticipate the WR's routes well enough, so he's a 1/2 second late on throws. We seen this before and by year 2 he has been solved. No we haven't we have never had this type of QB. I loved Flutie But Tyrod may end up being better. Flutie was shorter and nowhere near as fast and elusive.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted November 21, 2016 Posted November 21, 2016 This guy sucks!! I thought there was no threads during the game? he is solid enough but will never be great, hopefully we can develop someone along the way. we won, right? So much criticism after a big road win....amazing...how many perfect teams in this league? yeah we won but you know we are going nowhere, probably 8 - 8 again
BillsFan130 Posted November 21, 2016 Posted November 21, 2016 Bills win a conference road game to save there season, and all I hear is tyrod sucks or other negative stuff. Bills win what, 6 to 8 games a year on average? Why can't we just enjoy those 6-8 days a year and actually be happy/positive for once with regards to football?

Bills win what, 6 to 8 games a year on average? Why can't we just enjoy those 6-8 days a year and actually be happy/positive for once with regards to football? Why can't we be positive?? Because I am looking back at a NY Jets game that should have been a win...a Dolphins game that should have been a win....and a Seahawks game as well. I saw nothing from Tyrod today that would erase my vision of him as a one trick pony. Shotgun QB, once he drops back, happy feet, first read covered, panic, checkdown.
Billsman623 Posted November 21, 2016 Posted November 21, 2016 Today wasn't good but he looked much better when Woods was in. I'd like to see him with Woods, Harvin, and Sammy as opposed to Who, Who, and Who.

nucci Posted November 21, 2016 Posted November 21, 2016 yeah we won but you know we are going nowhere, probably 8 - 8 again so I can't enjoy the win because of what may happen? What's the point of being a sports fan if you can enjoy a win?
Maury Ballstein Posted November 21, 2016 Posted November 21, 2016 Because I'm not satisfied with week to week victories unless they add up to playoff trips This. Unless we are the jags and browns.
billsfanmd07 Posted November 21, 2016 Posted November 21, 2016 After 4 years of college and 6 NFL seasons, accuracy on short throws should be there. Not sure if accuracy can be coached or suddenly just occurs.

The game where the defense kept us in it, despite the offense failing miserably. The game where they scored 14 points. That one?

That's always the narrative..."Yeah, he threw for 160 yds and no INT's...but remember the Titans game in 2015?"
