Peter Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 I hope he's healthy but he wasn't exactly a good RT when he was out there. I thought he was much better than his detractors on this site thought.
C.Biscuit97 Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 I thought he was much better than his detractors on this site thought. I don't think the analytics back that up but I'm honestly not sure. He certainly has the ability but his desire and work ethic were questioned before his disease was discovered.
Formerly Allan in MD Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 When he was healthy, he showed little. Perhaps it was inexperience but he appeared kind of lost out there. He gave me the same vibe as EJ.
Augie Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 I thought he was much better than his detractors on this site thought. Mills makes me miss Seantrel.
3rdand12 Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 Mills makes me miss Seantrel. me two. I would imagine he is much stronger in mind these days
BADOLBILZ Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 There is zero chance I'd move Henderson. This team needs a starting RT next year, and I want both he and Kouandjio in the mix. Yeah trading him would have made no sense. He's an undisciplined, unaccountable turd but he's also very talented and has room to grow......... if the talent on that OL ever comes together this could be a thoroughly dominant OL. And beside, throwing one turd off of this team is basically the proverbial deck chair/titanic scenario. The foundation here is not character.......it's talent. The hope is some of these guys mature and get focused because if they gotta' clean house that will be painful. And frankly, I don't blame Whaley for all of these turds........I think that every team in the AFC East is trying to bludgeon the Pats with sheer force of talent because they know that the deck is otherwise heavily stacked against them. Trying to out-Patriot the Patriots is a lost cause.
bobobonators Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 i definitely remrmder his recruitment because OSU offered him and USC was telling his dad they would somehow get his dad a record label because he's some kind of rapper. Lmao. Whats shadier: college recruiting or political campaigns?
yungmack Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 Impossible. He's one of Whaley's many busts. I know, I read it here.
YoloinOhio Posted November 15, 2016 Author Posted November 15, 2016 Lmao. Whats shadier: college recruiting or political campaigns?close call!
biggerdaddynj Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 I thought he was much better than his detractors on this site thought. I thought he won some "recognition" as one the best picks for value his rookie year which must have been before the Crohn's Disease took him down. I found one site in which he was voted "steal of the draft" (not a big time site but still): http://www.zoneblitz.com/2015/01/25/2014-zoneblitz-nfl-awards/ And, I could have sworn PFF or some other more recognized site recognized him as the best value pick in the draft based on analytics and his performance as a starting RT although he was only a 7th round pick. If the Crohn's was the issue and he's back in playing shape, give him a shot, Mills sure isn't the answer. Something to give us hope about (I'm looking for something folks!).
DDD Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 Once Henderson gets his strength back he will be a permanent pro bowl fixture at RT for the Bills for many seasons.
manbeast Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 (edited) I could be mistaken but I think I remember reading that he was supposed to be a 1st rounder until some off the field issues Marijuana I believe caused him to fall. http://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2014/5/5/5683022/seantrel-henderson-marijuana-suspensions-nfl-draft Edited November 15, 2016 by manbeast
