PatsFanNH Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 Is it just me or are there no truly scary Defenses in the NFL anymore? I mean there are a LOT of potent so out there? Pittsburg,Atlanta,Raiders etc But I can't think of one D that is truly scary.. maybe Philly? How about you guys?

GunnerBill Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 Denver, Seattle, Philly, Houston, Baltimore and Minny are the closest there is.... but I agree there isn't one really fearsome D. All of those have their weak spots. The rules make it so hard to play really good D these days.

An organization that really knows what it's doing without FA and without a cap can build a monolith. There is more parity these days, but we are also robbed of the mega heavyweight title bouts we used to get as well.

BillsPride12 Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 Denver's defese last year and Seattle's defense the year before that were both insane. All time great defenses, due to salary cap and guys getting older/hurt they have both taken a couple steps backwards but still very good defenses. Your not going to see an elite, all-time great defense come out every single year.
