gatorbait
People questioned whether Obama was born in Kenya or if he was a part of the Muslim brotherhood. I never heard the right cry about any of that scrutiny and misfair treatment. Now people are questioning whether Trump and his organization borrowed hundreds of millions of dollars from Russian oligarchs and banks. If true, does anyone on the right see how that could lead to ethics violations and being compromised by a hostile foreign government? Jesus !@#$ing christ the hypocrisy on both sides is a joke. We should all welcome public scrutiny of any elected official or anyone in power for that matter.

If Trump can end the nuke and missile program in N Korea and have peace with S Korea then Trump should receive the Noble Peace Prize that Obama did not deserve. I give him credit for the war against ISIS , and his policy in the Middle East so far.

And this skepticism even exists among Republicans high in political knowledge.

After taking office last year, Pruitt drew up a list of at least a dozen countries he hoped to visit and urged aides to help him find official reasons to travel, according to four people familiar with the matter, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss internal agency deliberations. Pruitt then enlisted well-connected friends and political allies to help make the trips happen. … Pruitt’s practice of involving outsiders in his travels raises serious ethical concerns, legal experts said; federal law prohibits public officials from using their office to enrich themselves or any private individual, or to offer endorsements.
