boyst Posted February 11, 2017 Posted February 11, 2017 Trump makes stupid statements all the time. He apologizes for none of them. Apologies make a difference in a world of human frailty. Maybe Coumo is a disaster and his apologies would fall on deaf ears. I don't know the guy. But he offered a sincere mea culpa. I never apologize for anything I say. I only apologize for things I do, actions I implement or facilitate. Apologizing for something I said will only make those whom must listen believe there to be error in what you ate saying. If trump says dominos pizza is terrible then so what? If he goes to a dominos and takes a bite and vomits so what? If he takes a bite and vomits on an orphan parallelagram in a wheelchair then he can apologize. Otherwise people are to god damn sensitive about words.
Deranged Rhino Posted February 11, 2017 Posted February 11, 2017 I never heard of this guy until two days ago but he apologized for the slur comment. Seemed genuinely chastised. Unlike the leader of the US. He never apologized for blatantly lying about the illegality of people reading wikileaks. Cuomo is the poster boy for why CNN gets rightfully shamed with the fake news brush. !@#$ that guy and anyone who sticks up for him. He betrayed every principle a journalist is supposed to exude.

You may be right. I never heard of him before this story.

Highlighted key word which he's not Cuomo is a teleprompter reader. A race that may soon be an endangered species once the Networks realize that Moff Tarkin effect from Episode VII can be refined and applied to news rooms and they resurrect Walter Cronkite

Reading wikileaks is considered mishandling classified information, and as such is considered illegal. Especially if you have any sort of clearance. (Source: several memos I've received from OPM).

Look at the clip, he's saying don't read the source material for yourself, trust CNN to read and interpret it for you because it's illegal otherwise. It's chilling.

He's Andrew Cuomo's brother and younger son of Mario - AKA Hamlet on the Hudson. They're a Dem family who fancies themselves to be the next Kennedys.

Look at the clip, he's saying don't read the source material for yourself, trust CNN to read and interpret it for you because it's illegal otherwise. It's chilling. It actually might. It's still mishandling classified information, whether it's by the public or not. I just don't think anyone would really bother going after anyone in the general public for it. You could arguably charge anyone with espionage for reading wikileaks, but it would be a hell of a stretch and a glorious waste of resources.

Deranged Rhino Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 Jake Tapper is on CNN with Franken, pushing him to run for president by quoting Stuart Smalley. What timeline is this?

B-Man Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 Mainstream media whines as Trump calls on less established news outlets. Best bit: “To be fair, the previous WH also handpicked reporters. But it was very different than this.” Obama handpicked the right reporters.
B-Man Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 (edited) You stay classy, New York Times Has the New York Times finally gone too far? This is really … just awful. The New York TimesVerified account@nytimes Follow More White House adviser Stephen Miller became Public Enemy No. 1 with a few late-night hosts on Monday http://nyti.ms/2lL9Oy4 “There are plenty of images NYT could have used for this headline that didn’t involve Stephen Miller’s head on a spike. This is just in seriously bad taste, imagine if Breitbart or another more conservative outlet had posted an image of say Valerie Jarrett’s head on a spike.” It's already been screen captured, so they might as well keep it up Edited February 14, 2017 by B-Man

I've seriously never seen any group of people in such a collective, epic meltdown mode.
Azalin Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 I've seriously never seen any group of people in such a collective, epic meltdown mode. Can you imagine how they'll behave the next time they lose an election? Boy, they're gonna be really, really pissed. No telling what they'll be wearing on their heads during that march.
