One of my buddies hated Carroll with a passion going way back to his first HC gig with the Jets. It was almost odd how much he hated him way back then, before it was a common thing. Last night he must have texted me "I just want to punch Carroll in the face" like 20 times

 

hm seems like a lot of wasted passion and energy towards a person that is really just a member of an entertainment group. not to mention, doesn't even know you exist. haha talk about petty.

Can you believe he's the oldest coach in the NFL? He looks like one of the younger guys. Good for him!

HGH, he does look 15 years younger than his age though. Wasn't he with the Pats organization at one time?

He's a smug MF but dude is a great coach & his players love playing for him (except that psycho Harvin).

 

Side note, I saw him in LA a few years ago just riding a bike with 3 foot tall tires.

I got very close to Pete during warmups for the seahawks @ jets game.

 

First of all, I wouldn't be surprised to learn that he was a smoker at one time in his life as gum has seemingly replaced that vice (my own take as a former smoker myself).

 

Secondly, a jets fan yelled down from the stands "we miss you here, pete!" He turned around and looked up for the guy and asked some people around him if they saw who said it. The guy yelled again, pete smiled, pointed to him and kind of waved the guy off as if to say "that's enough of that..."

 

He looks like he has fun doing what he does that's for sure. Enthusiastic and eager. I enjoyed watching the guy work.
