Yeezus Posted November 8, 2016 Author Posted November 8, 2016 Tyrod is in his 2nd year This defense has had 2 full off seasons to get fixed with a defensive guru HC and didn't Rex is the only person to blame right now
aristocrat Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 i'd hire schwartz back. we'd have to slide zack brown outside but maybe move on from preston? shaq at def end. we had #3 defense against pass 2 years ago. get that back and we are what? 7-2
#34fan Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 Tyrod needs to build on this. While he was good, he missed at least one wide open receiver for a TD on that last drive. He's gotta hit that to make the leap. He ignored Clay, wide open a couple of times.... Threw an unexplainable pick to the worst person in the world, and THEN chucked an uncatchable bullet to Bobby Woods in heavy traffic... Tyrod isn't the answer.. He isn't even a starter... The Sooner Cardale Jones can suit up the better off this team will be...

Herb62 Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 This will all be in the tail lights once we win the 2025 super bowl under coach Gilmore

ALLEN1QB Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 Tyrod is not the answer and neither is Rex. Brace yourself for three or more years of mediocrity. Tyrod is not the answer? You should be a Jet fan now they have a QB problem. I am more than happy with Tyrod. He is the most athletic QB in the League. We finally have a good QB and some of you just don't get it. Tired of changing coaches ride this one out. Im telling you in 2 years we will go very deep into the playoffs. Get rid of Gilmore and get some real help back there and watch out!!!
TheFunPolice Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 Keep everyone This team has been devastated by injuries and still is growing

To clay on the 5 yard line and hope he gets in? To powell who was knocked on his ass? Or to the RB who was a good 10 yards from the end zone? That ball HAS to go to the end zone. And honestly - if woods isn't bumped off his line by thomas, he very well might have caught it. Edited November 8, 2016 by dneveu

Tyrod consistently comes up short in games that require a starting QB not to... Once he's benched, he'll be the very best backup in the league and as such worth keeping... Sadly, paying him 27.5 million dollars to be a franchise QB is out of the question. -And I wouldn't be so quick to sleep on Bryce Petty. Edited November 8, 2016 by #34fan
8-8 Forever? Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 nah, they were a play away from winning the most unwinnable game in the league, Seattle on MNF. They were great last night. no Question about it. Against a #1 defense and a top 5 QB and a circus act TE. Great.

Hence the reason they reached and drafted Hack 2 rounds earlier than they did Petty last year.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 The sooner we remove Rex Ryan from the equation the better Tyrod just played the best game of his career. He looked like an NFL franchise QB against a pretty good defense. Rex has added nothing to this team, his defense is costing us games every week and it's pathetic Give Tyrod more weapons and let's see what he can do. maybe edit the title to "move forward with ..." (have to use full editor)

Is it really Franchise QB money if his cap hit is in the bottom half of the league for the next 2 years before the team's next option point?
boyst Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 If we would have passed on the long 3rd and whatever we would have converted
BuffaloHokie13 Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 If we would have passed on the long 3rd and whatever we would have converted The draw play where Groy missed his assignment? Yeah, maybe.
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 One game. Simma down now. What if we start thinking about the last 3 nah, they were a play away from winning the most unwinnable game in the league, Seattle on MNF. They were great last night. no Question about it. Against a #1 defense and a top 5 QB and a circus act TE. Great. It was an entertaining game. Lost in all pain are, (1) TT made some incredible throws. You can build a team around him (2) throw the ball to woods!! For the love of god, finally we see what happens when you actually target the guy... (3) shady = the offense. He so often makes up for lousey o line play by getting something out of nothing As far as the other side of the ball, a few nice efforts, but the overarching theme is that whenever the "defensive masterminds" run into a decent QB they get beat.

Ron Burgundy Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 The offense was really good last night, the amount of first downs and passing yards was great. The problem is the defense and that falls directly on Rex. He had a top defense and decided his scheme would be better than what was already working. If he had kept Shwartz where would we be now? So disappointing, if it's not one thing it's another. Doomsday people i see are saying 5-11 and eternal optimists 11-5. All that means is 8-8 here we come.
