Augie Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 How are the Sabres looking? I'm looking forward to Xavier basketball. Not to jinx them too, oh boy, delete, delete, delete.....
bobobonators Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 His loss was notable bc we couldnt run the ball after he was gone.
Big Turk Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 (edited) That injury was/is game changing and season ending. Â Probably Sherman's fault somehow. Yup...both those runs that got stuffed behind Groy would have been huge gains for McCoy that would have easily put us in FG range on the one...meaning that at the end of the game we would have tied it with a FG instead of having to go for a TD Edited November 8, 2016 by matter2003
BB2004 Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 Every !@#$in week. Team has no chance with this bad luck. Â Â Do you really think we had a chance to begin with?
YoloinOhio Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 Patrick Lewis is actually a backup center but he was inactive. Groy was active because he can play center or guard. Hopefully with the bye week Lewis gets the reps to adequately replace Wood.
1st Ammendment NoMas Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 That was the !@#$ moment of the game. The Hawks had pressure up the middle the rest of the game. Couldn't run well either. What a glaring hole!! Damn it!!!
Special K Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 It was the broadcasters jinx on that one.....about three plays before the injury the announcer made a comment that Wood had played in 100+ consecutive games, then the injury happened. Â Awful news for the team and for Wood. Â I hope he can come back at full strength for next year.
QCity Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 This could have career implications. That guy is one tough SOB, but he is on the wrong side of 30.
HuSeYiN_NYC Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 Sucks that we lose Eric. I still want to know why he was taking forever to snap the ball though.
34-78-83 Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 There's unfortunately not a C out there that I'm aware of that can help the team from here on out this season! DAMNIT!! What the HELL???? The football gods HATE us and slap us every time good things start to happen.
The Frankish Reich Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 There's unfortunately not a C out there that I'm aware of that can help the team from here on out this season! DAMNIT!! What the HELL???? The football gods HATE us and slap us every time good things start to happen. Where's Will Montgomery? I mean, he's gotta be better than Groy, right?
Jon in Pasadena Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 Lube or no? That's a rhetorical question, right?
34-78-83 Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 Where's Will Montgomery? I mean, he's gotta be better than Groy, right? I just hope they can find someone suitable... Not looking good
DC Tom Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 Well...on the bright side, it's not his first...and not as severe as last time, either.
Big Turk Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 How are the Sabres looking? Depends on if the refs are making them play shorthanded or two men short all game long like tonight or not
Dr.Sack Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 4 wins 5 losses. Everything else is just meaningless.
Big Turk Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 Sucks that we lose Eric. I still want to know why he was taking forever to snap the ball though. Not his fault, the guards are supposed to alert him when they are in situations where they can't hear
HuSeYiN_NYC Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 Not his fault, the guards are supposed to alert him when they are in situations where they can't hear I saw the guard doing wax on wax off all night. But yet Wood would always add "paint the fence, up, down" and BOOM, delay of game.
