Just pointing out that a team that kills it in the regular season only to choke immediately in the playoffs year after year must be just as frustrating for the fans of teams like the Falcons, Bengals....and Colts for half the seasons Manning played there. Some folks will argue that if you dont win the Super Bowl, you're best off being the worst team and getting the #1 overall pick. Everyone in between is just floundering in mediocrity. If you're an AFC team that finishes 9-7 and doesnt make the playoffs, or an NFC team who finishes 9-7 and loses in the 1st round, is there a big difference? Our views as Bills fans are obviously skewed given our past 16 years of irrelevance. We'd happily take the playoff appearance just to get this monkey off our back. But think about it, if you are a fan of any other team, is there really a difference here? Making the playoffs must be amazing, actually.
