26CornerBlitz Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 (edited) @caplannfl #Bills waived WR Greg Salas off IR with an injury settlement. @mikerodak Bills could use help at WR and Greg Salas, cut from IR today, is possibility. Rule: must wait 3 weeks before re-signing player cut from IR. Edited November 17, 2016 by 26CornerBlitz
Saxum Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 Teams usually do that when player has recovered from injury and in last year of contract so a player can attempt to find a position for remainder of year. Team which put him on IR cannot resign player to prevent P*ts style cheating.
Dr.Sack Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 Good move for Salas. Gives him chance to get healthy and find work.
jr1 Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 he showed a lot against the Jets. Good luck to him

It used to be 6 weeks wait. In the meantime he can sign with any other teams. The settlement takes him off IR and means he's passed a physical, otherwise they wouldn't have been able to do the settlement. Edited November 4, 2016 by Wayne Cubed

Wayne they were just explaining that on WGR.....interesting If they can get Percy, Sammy, Salas, Woods, Hunter, Goodwin All of a sudden the WR's look a lot better

stevewin Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 Worst part of him leaving is his wife leaving https://www.instagram.com/dominiquereeuwijksalas/
youngjebrey Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 I work with his cousin at a juvenile detention center over here in Boston (small world). Gonna be awkward on Monday ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

8-8 Forever? Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 Wayne they were just explaining that on WGR.....interesting If they can get Percy, Sammy, Salas, Woods, Hunter, Goodwin All of a sudden the WR's look a lot better yes they do, unfortunately we'll be 5-7 or something like that by the time the WR gang is back together. Injuries sink another season. But hey, the garbage time last 4 weeks of the season will be fun to watch
jester43 Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 besides the smoking hot wife (holy wow) he's a super likable guy and i was looking forward to rooting for him this year. sucks if that's it for him in Buffalo

With a well placed bye it's only two games.
BuffaloFan68 Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 She's a cutie. Wish we would go with a 5- Wide formation every once in a while to give the opposing D's more to prepare for. It would probably be successful right now cause no-one would be prepared for it.
Peter Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 It would be great to get him back - either this year or next.
Wayne Cubed Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 With a well placed bye it's only two games. Yup, if this is the Bills actual plan, it's a pretty clever one.
YoloinOhio Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 I think this is a good sign for Sammy to come off IR. They want both back I think.
