dpberr
My opinion on these political polls is that the numbers are irrelevant but the message is not. If you're a Democrat, you want to paint a picture of inevitability but it's not safe. If you're a Republican, you don't want complacency. If your candidate is up 10 points, you'd have a lot of people out there saying "ehh, I don't really need to go vote." IMO, this race is close based on where the candidates are today. If Clinton really felt she had a four point lead, she's not in Pennsylvania TWICE today and in Michigan, a state that last went for the GOP in 1988. I'm approaching this like a NE* game. No way am I buying into the concept of 'maybe this time.' Trump will get his ass beat, and it will be followed by two weeks of him saying stupid crap, which will be used to club Republicans when Hillary can't get anything done. My only hope is down ballot. The house should be safe, but the Senate is iffy.

Yes, but only one comes with four years of the media yelling "The GOP would never treat a man like that!"
keepthefaith
My wife and I have thrown a couple of big election night parties in the past with 30+ people but haven't done so since 2010. It would be too much like watching the Hank Bullough coached Bills in a large group this time around.

UConn James
I've been called by polling organizations before. Not recently, though...since I live in the People's Democratic Republic of Maryland, polls are pointless. Probably the same with Chef Jim - who needs to poll California? Just pick the Democrats on the ballot...except in places like Bezerkley, where you pick the die-hard socialists. Sorry, but you have to be full-blown Commie to get a gig in the Berk.
