Someone has to say it: GET OVER IT YOU LOSERS!

Sure, his suspension was bad. Yes, it sucks he had an injury when he came back. Now he has a groin issue (which nobody has even said would keep him out of the Seattle game yet)...that also sucks. Not the best half a season of his career, that's for sure.

BUT HE IS BACK AND HE IS A GREAT PLAYER! Plus, he isn't going anywhere, no matter what. He's likely to be our best player over the course of the next 3 or 4 years.

Cut him a break. It's over. Can we show some of our guys some love when things are bad for a change? These are our guys, this our team for God's sake and as bad as things have been we're .500 with plenty of time chase the WC spot.

And...

While we're at it, lets give Gilmore break too. Don't get me wrong, this is not a hill I'm willing to die on but at minimum it's getting tired to hear the repeted blasting of Gilmore. He's had good and bad games so far this season, but he really hasn't had bad seasons for us ever. Who cares what goes on with his contract at the end of the year and if he leaves or not, or wants too much money...whatever. Lets watch football and quite killing our own on the boards so much.

Why do you feel the need to defend guys who aren't giving the team their best effort? MD screwed them by smoking weed and getting out of shape, he has been a no show. Gilmore looks like a college kid playing it safe so he can ink his first big deal in the NFL.

Both of these guys have cost us games and they deserve all the attention they are getting. Some fans on social media take things to far but to say that each of these guys have screwed us is not outlandish.

The Marcell haters are a relatively small, but overly vocal group. I don't believe the majority of fans are in agreeance with the "fat tub of goo" crowd.

It often seems like many fans have no grasp of what it's really like playing professional sports and how the game really works, so instead of being able to hold a constructive conversation about the team or players, they just get angry and want to fire or trade anyone that is in their way that particular week. It's pretty ridiculous and it's getting old. The same group year after year spend half the season worrying about the salary cap. It makes it hard to view this site at times. there are some great posters here that provide some good insight , but for the most part negativity reigns here.

Dareus has one of the most lucrative contracts in the entire NFL. THE ENTIRE NFL.

This was his SECOND suspension due to a drug test issue in a one year span. And you want to give him a break? You want to call out fans for being upset? You're something else.

This is by far the best sports board I have read or been apart of.

Is guaranteed money all paid up front?

This explains it pretty well: http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/marcell-dareus-7718/

Dead money is attributed to up front bonus. That's the number that hits the cap should we trade or cut him.

Notice how its higher than his salary for next year, and its his full salary in 2018? Thats why we basically can't cut him or trade him.

Girlmore has 1 or 2 nice pass breakups...then a boneheaded 60 yd TD allowed where he throws his hands up. This has happened 2 or 3 times this year. Would like to see him jam the WR at the LOS rather than giving them an 8 yd cushion. He's playing safe which (IMO) equates to waiting for a 6 pt play.

Dareus and Sammy are smoking bowl after bowl trying to manage their pain. Meanwhile, guys like Russ Wilson are dealing with high ankle sprains and meniscus injuries and still working their tails off each Sunday. Oh wait...Sammy relies in his feet to run routes...last time I checked Russ Wilson (a running QB) does as well.

We live in a time (and especially in a small market) where our sports figures are larger than life. As such, they are coddled and excused more so than in a larger market where they are told to hit the bricks (see Jamie Collins...and he's healthy). Good luck Girlmore, Dareus and Hammy.

Oh, by the way, if anyone wants to buy some Watkins overpriced, commercialized, teamware...visit his website. He's marketing his crap like he is Jerry Rice after one mediocre season as a WR. Smh

I don't hate Dareus. In fact, I want nothing but the best for him and hope he gets his life together and lives a long, healthy and happy life. Having said all that, there's no ignoring his selfish behavior leading to suspensions and his questionable conditioning. Huge contract, now EARN IT! Grow up, big guy. People aren't reacting to the man, it's his behavior that's draws the ire. I doubt any here actually even know the man. The behavior (and results) is easy to dislike.

And he's playing like garbage...

Hmm busted knee, ankle and pec, yes he hasn't been himself. We are catching them at a good time but I'm not going to hate on Russel for toughing it out and trying to get W's.

Russell Wilson just isn't putting the effort in. He got paid and just doesn't care anymore.

Has anyone had a look at his off season conditioning? Something is suspect there. #noeffort
