I'm concerned about the coming season, the depth, particularly up front is paper thin. Could be a mediocre season for Central NY fans.

Definitely. We're going to be so reliant on unknown freshman to get minutes. Moyer and Brissett look to be competing for minutes at the 3, with Sidibe and Dolezag holding down the 4? Thompson should be able to man the 5 with Chukwu backing him up. Might be a long season.

For some reason, I have a good feeling about this season. We seem like we have enough offense to compete. Guys like battle and Thompson are going to improve dramatically-- that's pretty much a given. I can also see Frank Howard turning the corner. If they can get that defense back to its elite level, I think they can be competitive.

Word around the campfire is that Moyer has really developed his game. He also spent some time in the weight room. Gained 20-25 pounds I believe. I also believe that Brissett is a highly underrated recruit. I think he contributes at the 3 right away.

So Lydon did end up being a first round pick, good for him

As much as I hated the decision, he sure proved us wrong.

I wish him well, but I would put money on the fact that he will be playing in Europe in like 2-3 years.

Stinks that AW3 didn't get drafted.

It depends, if he bulks up enough and plays with more confidence he could be really good, granted those were the two weakest parts of his game.

Also on ESPN they list him at 6'10", I thought he was 6'8"

And White III is such a pure shooter and has size, I figured he would be a second round pick at least

Very happy for Lydon. He made the right decision. Guaranteed contract. Even if he doesn't get 2nd contract, he can go play in Europe and then go back to school with the millions he's earned.

Good for Lydon. Pretty sure Uncle Drew will catch on somewhere. He's too good of a shooter not to.

Cleveland could be a good place for him. They need reliable shooters, if he can D up he might get a good look.

Also, TRob signs with the Bucks.

T.Rob? For a second, I had flashbacks of Terrance Roberts and the Mookie watkins lean years at Syracuse!

2 maddeningly inconsistent players. Roberson should have led the team last year and dominated but his effort just was missing on so many occasions. White was a little too passive in many games but wow what a jump shot. I think he has a much better chance to make an impact in the league than even Lydon.

Good get in Bazely. Swider to Nova is at least good for the Big East, and I'm a Xavier guy. We were deep in the mix for both, but still in there for plenty of talent. This years class is maybe the best ever, but work to do for next year. I don't remember seeing 'Cuse in the Elite Eight last year, or half of the last 8 Sweet 16's. :)
