BringBackOrton Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 Chris Brown @ChrisBrownBills 54s54 seconds ago Official - #Bills sign Percy Harvin - Aaron Williams to injured reserve, another season ended prematurely. RIP Bills defense.
MAJBobby Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 As much as I like Aaron, he needs to hang them up
bobobonators Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 Time for everyone else to step up. Especially gilmore and darby
Rubes Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 Lori Chase@LChase_RABills 2015-16, with Aaron Williams: 6-3, leading Miami when he went out. Without AW: 6-9 (including Miami) and counting.
GunnerBill Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 As much as I like Aaron, he needs to hang them up Agreed. I like him too much as a guy who is a good player and really cares about this team to see him suffer an injury that could threaten more than his football career. Time to put himself first. Lori Chase @LChase_RA Bills 2015-16, with Aaron Williams: 6-3, leading Miami when he went out. Without AW: 6-9 (including Miami) and counting. He calls the plays for the back end and they seem to lack a leader without him.
Coach Tuesday Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 Should've found safety help this past offseason. They gambled and lost.
26CornerBlitz Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 Time for everyone else to step up. Especially gilmore and darby Blanton and Meeks.
ChanOverChin Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 It's the best thing for Aaron at this time. I don't think his career is over though.
K-9 Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 I sincerely hope karma pays Landry a visit. And I've never wanted opposing players to be injured. Ever. But when it comes to season and potentially career ending cheap shots, I will root for karma every time. Landry is a disgrace.
Blokestradamus Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 I think we just watched him walk away. Sad way for it all to end, if that's the case.
Big C Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 Should've found safety help this past offseason. They gambled and lost. But but Duke and Meeks just looked so good in camp! They did also sign Blanton and Colt, but they probably would have done well to add maybe Reggie Nelson as someone more dependable.
YoloinOhio Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 My kingdom for a safety who can fill his shoes.
Blokestradamus Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 My kingdom for a safety who can fill his shoes. At this point, I'd suit up Ed Reed. At least he could vocalise like Aaron does.
Fadingpain Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 UH OH. From the team perspective, as well as AW's health perspective. The systemic defensive communication problem Corey Graham spoke of after the NE loss, if indeed at least partially attributable to AW's absence, better get fixed...and fixed soon!
bmur66 Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 A-ARon will be missed. I don't think this defense has played well at all without him.

26CornerBlitz Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 I'm surprised to see Whaley say this: @ChrisBrownBills Whaley - Not ruling A. Williams out for the yr. Called it day-to-day situation. Mentions I-R designation to return as option. #Bills

It's hard to say exactly without really knowing what was happening (or not happening) on the field. Graham's post-game comments weren't very specific. But I agree he's a great candidate to pick it up a notch and help glue things together back there!
