BuffaloBillsMagic1 Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 Anybody else feel as though he is our biggest disappointment on offense? Seems like we do not utilize him for the talent that he had and when we try to he drops balls and always seemed nicked up. For all the money he makes seems like O'leary gets more out of his talents.
Big C Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 Dunno how much of his lack of receptions, etc. are his fault. I do know that he is doing well blocking. He is making too much $ not to get more involved in the passing game, but I'm betting he takes on double teams a lot without Sammy, Goodwin and a healthy Woods.

Not even close to the biggest disappointment on offense.
Best Player Available Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 When you hear a fan during the game and after a drop say I miss Chandler. Something is wrong. He was horrid. A couple of throws seemed high though.
DDD Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 Ralph was cheap, Terry overpays. Results are the same.
atlbillsfan1975 Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 anyone else have the thought when Clay got hurt of 'yep that's typical'?

Nope, not one bit. Until there is a viable QB playing the position it is hard to judge anyone else.
Tipster19 Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 He's got the perfect name because he's made of clay. He's more fragile than a WR.
PO16FFS Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 Oleary > Clay Felton had more yards in the first half than any other receiver on the team.
MAJBobby Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 Not going to defend Clay because i never liked his contract. But hard to kill a guy that works most of his routes in areas QB ignores. Like Gronkowski TD taylor never throws that ball
swnybillsfan Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 i am of the opinion that clay is not being used to his potential, or in the proper manor. when they went out and got him, and when they were first theorizing his role, i had visions of a guy lining up all over the field, presenting match up problems, and being hit in the hands while running at full speed over the middle. the biggest problem seems to be that last part.

He is of Similar Skillset to Delanie Walker, can people actually watch a game and say he is being utilized like Delanie Walker is. (Reason he was brought in by the way)
34-78-83 Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 Clay is playing at about 60 % it looks like. Still blocking well. Very slowed and less shifty from the injuries.
Webster Guy Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 Good blocker, decent route runner, will never be great. Fragile. Im still glad he's on our team.
Dr.Sack Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 New England has a great system with an all-time great QB and great personnel.
Rico Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 Overrated ex-Felon who is easily hurt and isn't close to be worth all the jack he's getting. That being said, he's the best TE we've had in years, much better than the likes of Robert Royal and Scott Chandler.
boyst Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 If our ol or RB's cpuld block maybe he could go down field more. We just have to use him to block and he's doing good at it. At times Looking like a pulling lineman
Momma Pecoraro Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 He wasn't signed for his blocking. Was supposed to be the key piece in Roman's O. Oh wait... The Josh Reed defense is always worth the dust off.
