26CornerBlitz Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 (edited) @SalSports Rex confirms there is some "long term concern" with Aaron Williams considering it's another neck injury. @mikerodak Rex Ryan gives ominous update on Aaron Williams, saying it's fair to say there are "long term concerns" over neck injury. zonabb Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 If he's somehow medically cleared, he needs to make the smart decision and walk away. Disturbing that a scumbag hit by a scumbag player like that will ultimately end a guy's career.
K-9 Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 Landry effectively ended his career. ^This If he's somehow medically cleared, he needs to make the smart decision and walk away. Disturbing that a scumbag hit by a scumbag player like that will ultimately end a guy's career. ^And that.
Peter Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 I always liked Aaron Williams as both a player and a person. He always has represented Buffalo and the Buffalo Bills in a way that reflects very well on him, the Bills, and the community. I hope this is not true. As for Landry, karma is a B word. I have a feeling he is not going to enjoy playing the Bills in December. He should have more respect for fellow players. I am so pissed off right now . . . .
26CornerBlitz Posted October 27, 2016 Author Posted October 27, 2016 It would suck to have his career ended this way, but if it comes to it at least he'll be able to walk away.
Big C Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 I think we all knew this was a distinct possibility, but AW is passionate about the game and went out anyway. He was having a good year too :/
John from Riverside Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 There is our number 1 pick next year.....but man we dont have anything NOW
KollegeStudnet Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 Williams will always be a Bill to me. If it is an end, may he retire a Bill 🍺
Big C Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 There is our number 1 pick next year.....but man we dont have anything NOW Hope Blanton/Duke/Meeks are ready to step up. Doesn't inspire the most confidence, but I'm trusting Blanton will correct some of his mistakes from last week.
John from Riverside Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 Blanton is the one free agent aquisition that is not carrying his weight Needs to get it together
NoSaint Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 ^This ^And that. without knowing the nature of the actual injury its a bit much to be advocating a guy retires.
Mr. WEO Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 Rex aid earlier in the week AW was back at team meetings. Now his injury is ominous? Has anyone commented on the actual injury?
1st Ammendment NoMas Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 Blanton really sucked last week and Duke is really bad, so this is a cause of concern, especially in the Pats game. Brady will pick apart this hole in the secondary all game. We better knock Landry around in the next Fins game. I want to see someone take him out hard.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 (edited) And the Bills did nothing to retaliate against Landry. Shameful. Landry needs to leave New Era Field on a stretcher. Edited October 27, 2016 by joesixpack
MAJBobby Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 As much as it sucks Aaron needs to hang em up
May Day 10 Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 Hopefully, if this is it, PS&E has a role to offer him in the media or with the club. Seems like a great guy who quite literally sacrificed his health for the team.
MAJBobby Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 Rex aid earlier in the week AW was back at team meetings. Now his injury is ominous? Has anyone commented on the actual injury? Just neck
The Big Cat Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 That'll pretty much do it for this season. As we witnessed Sunday, they got precisely jack squat coming up behind him. I harped on it last year too: safety remains a need for this team. They will struggle without him. And idiots will blame Rex.
