MAJBobby Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 Yeah, those three points crushed us. So did the other three they got from the only other drive they put together in the first half. What a !@#$ing joke some of these takes are. I am starting to understand some around here. We win though tyrod did play bad, its complimentary football he managed he offense. We lose Tyrod did enough to win defense fault

We lose Tyrod did enough to win defense fault I'm pointing to the drive charts as clear and present evidence that the offense did not do enough to win. It's not total stats, it's a visualization of how the game progressed. Nobody has pointed to anything to show that--in the games Buffalo has lost--Tyrod was good enough. This goes all the way back to last year.

You cant let one player do that and win. its one game and the D has been very good......just not last Sunday;.

I am going to start calling that into question if you cannot admit that going 3 and out for an entire half does hurt a defense ability to play defense

How is it possible that any person who has watched football for any length of time in their life could watch that Miami game and come away with laying the majority of the blame for that loss on anything other than the Bills inability to stop the run? It is as clear as day. Neither side of the Bills team played well. But the biggest FUBAR by far was the Bills' run defense. It is not even close. You mean to tell me you seriously don't see that?

Sounds like yesterday's apology was not really that heart felt....stick to giving your opinion about the bills

Turn on the 90s Bills and you will see the same thing with one of the better football teams to ever take the field Your going to start calling into question. Sounds like yesterday's apology was not really that heart felt....stick to giving your opinion about the bills OMG really that is what the comeback is. It is OK to admit that TT is a reason we lost the football game, and that his constant 3 and outs do hurt this team.

It is OK to admit that TT is a reason we lost the football game, and that his constant 3 and outs do hurt this team. The fact that TT did make plays to score enough points is a reason why we lost the football game Letting one player rush for 200 yards is also why we lost the game both the OL and the DL losing their matches is also why we lost the game Shady not being 100 percent is also a reason why we lost the game Not running a healthy Mike G. is also a reason why we lost the game ............... ............... ...............

You just refuse to admit it. I got it wont keep pushing. Just apeal to your coach side (not fan said) that if your team is getting crushed in TOP and are dead tired at the end of a game make sure you cast some blame to your offense that cant manage 1 drive longer than 3 plays when needed. to give you defense a Blow, you know also play complimentary football I mean we all know Colin Kaep played well enough to win, just the defense let him down Edited October 27, 2016 by MAJBobby

At what point in this conversation did I indicate that the run defense was anything resembling good? Please. Tell me. Now: please also tell me if you truly believe that may be JUST MAY BE the run defense that was SUDDENLY suspect might have been--I DON'T KNOW--somewhat compromised by the fact that the offense had zero drives of more than seven plays until garbage time. Let me put it to you another way: The run defense was poor on Sunday because of poor technique and because they got beat up front. The run defense got its skulled kicked in on Sunday because the offense kept putting them back on the field. The former surrendered 6 points. The latter 22. Now. Tell me: which one resulted in the Bills losing teh football game?

I think so. Yes time of possession does influence how hard it is on the other side of the ball. Nobody with any common sense is going to dispute that. But it isn't the majority factor in that loss to Miami. Sorry. It's just not.

That several aspects of the team didnt do enough to win the game INCLUDING the QB who only generated 3 touchdowns?
The Big Cat Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 No actually it is not. Bills have the worst 3 and out % in the NFL for the second year running. And YES people are arguing it Don't be inaccurate. They were 30th last year, they're 29th this year: http://www.sportingcharts.com/nfl/stats/three-and-out-percentage/2016/ In the 18 games under Roman, however, they were the worst.
MAJBobby Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 Refuse to admit what? That several aspects of the team didnt do enough to win the game INCLUDING the QB who only generated 3 touchdowns? How about the QB that had 6 three and outs out of 7 drives when the game was on the line as a factor
bobobonators Posted October 27, 2016 Author Posted October 27, 2016 Also were are you pulling your stats from? Sporting Charts.
