4merper4mer Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 But has every single season of 24 involved a mole in CTU? I mean at some point wouldn't you think they'd improve their background screening process? They have vetting but they need to make it more extreme.
meazza Posted February 8, 2017 Posted February 8, 2017 They have vetting but they need to make it more extreme. And they should build a wall.
4merper4mer Posted February 8, 2017 Posted February 8, 2017 And they should build a wall. Two. And start in the north.
meazza Posted February 8, 2017 Posted February 8, 2017 Two. And start in the north. That's fine, I usually travel by plane.
dpberr Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Anyone still watching? I am but eh. They are using the same ol' plot devices, super goofy storylines (Carter's wife is the new Kim, quarreling gay coworkers, evil dad, etc.) and Islamic terrorists yet again. If this show takes place after all the Jack Bauer mayhem, consider all the nerve gas, atomic weapons detonated on American soil (at least two), and the numerous Presidents killed or arrested in Jack's time and you're going to have to do better than a truck bomb on a bridge by the hot little number in a van.

I feel pretty much the same way. I watch, but I don't particularly look forward to it. They've pretty much done everything already. The only thing that could save it in my mind is Jack Bauer.

I think the biggest misstep to the Legacy series is that they didn't create a unique universe for the show that referenced all the stuff that happened in the original series. In a world where you had all that death and destruction and only one POTUS that served a full term, there's a lot of room for story. Shows that do create a unique "setting" (Person of Interest, The Man in the High Castle, Scandal, Designated Survivor, the Expanse, etc.) allows you to create fresh material.

Buffalo Barbarian Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Legacy is not even close to the Original, it's ok but still disappointed.
Just Jack Posted March 9, 2017 Author Posted March 9, 2017 I've watched the first episode but none since, not because I'm not interested, but it's one of those shows I'd rather binge watch than have to wait a week for the next episode.
Just Jack Posted April 11, 2017 Author Posted April 11, 2017 Caught up now. I'd like to see Isaacs crew join up with Tony's group.
