YoloinOhio Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Thought he looked pretty good. Didn't think he looked slow.
CommonCents Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 How else is he going to learn to play? Learn to play football? I'm pretty sure he knows how to do that. My comment was about his conditioning and being trotted out there so quickly after his return. He is not ready yet, no need to put him out there. They made the right move and got his shoulder fixed, now give the kid time to catch up.
Webster Guy Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Mostly chased plays. Body looks great, had one decent inside move. Im hoping he and Adolphus get as many snaps together as possible, they're the future of our Dline
bmur66 Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 I'd say he looked promising. Give him some time.
boyst Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Adolphus is the gem of our draft. His pursuit and his determination to chase a play is everything we want compared to his rep out of tOSU.
Coach Tuesday Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 So, the "stand up and lean into the offensive lineman" routine that he flashed in college?
CardinalScotts Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Looked like he was in slow motion and completely unaware - BUT he has one practice, no camp, no preseason games, so to think he was going to fly around was wishful thinking. I think he will be a good player but for this year might not start to click til week 10 or so
BADOLBILZ Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 So, the "stand up and lean into the offensive lineman" routine that he flashed in college? That is what we saw yesterday.
Bleeding Bills Blue Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 I didn't think he looked out of place at all. He wasn't missing tackles or getting pushed around at all. We really only used him on 3rd downs, and he performed fine.
26CornerBlitz Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 @Shaq_Lawson90 Feels good to be back on the field with my teammates We will be back this weekend
The Tomcat Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 (edited) He was supposed to play on obvious pass downs. With Ajayi Running wild there were few of those. That being said, I thought he looked a bit slow as well but he's a huge human being. Pushed the pocket well I thought but no 3rd and longs make it hard to rush the passer. He didn't look out of place to me. My grade...incomplete Edited October 24, 2016 by The Tomcat

Heitz Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 http://billswire.usatoday.com/2016/10/24/bills-film-room-breaking-down-shaq-lawson-in-nfl-debut/ Lawson played fast and through the whistle on every snap that he was on the field...... It’s a trait that Lawson consistently displayed throughout his collegiate career as well. So he wasn't slow, just leaning into O linemen OR Maybinesque? So confused...
Wayne Cubed Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Do people actually know when he was on the field or are they just repeating what others have said? He played 14 snaps, he didn't look slow and wasn't leaning into lineman. Funny he blew past B. Albert, flushed Tranny out of the pocket and was chasing him down. Man, that's a whole lot of leaning.

I think P Brown flushed him on that one

This is what I saw as well.....he didnt have sacks but he looked like he was a high effort chasing things down guy in his first game. I am not really sure what people were expecting. I think he is gonna be a kid that picks up steam as the season wears on now. He did not look out of place.

Wayne Cubed Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 I think P Brown flushed him on that one I know which one you are talking about, and that's not the one I mean. If I wasn't on my phone I'd post the GIF. He pushes Albert back then comes back in side. It's a really good move, actually.
