BuffalooByrd Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 To be honest, I wasn't able to watch the game today but I did check the boxcore and it looks like our first round pick notched his first tackle in the NFL. Anyone watch the full game and can speak to how Lawson performed overall?

He subbed in for certain personnel packages, and at first glance look solid, but I'd need to watch the all-22 to volunteer more.
CommonCents Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 Slow is a word, but I didn't think he should have been out there in the first place. The young man just had his first NFL practice Weds.
John from Riverside Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 He didnt make impact plays but It was his first game.....and he is back now so lets see how he does rest of season
Not at the table Karlos Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 Only paid attention to him in the first quarter. First few plays he would engage the tackle and just kind of stand there with his hands on him. The next drive he was much more active but nothing spectacular. Looked like he hasn't played in a while.
Dorkington Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 He looked really slow to me. But I didn't look for him or anything.
Virgil Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 I can't say I saw anything from him that gave me any hope or insight about him. Just another guy out there today
Leroi Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 Kinda reminded me of IK today. Slow, bad angles. Imo
Dirtbag Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 Kinda reminded me of IK today. Slow, bad angles. that must be why rex was raving about him all week.
MAJBobby Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Looked like a guy that is not close to football shape and has been rehabbibg since May
Beef Jerky Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 He almost got his first sack and pressured Tannehill a couple times. Other then that he was rusty.
BillnutinHouston Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 In a word, slow. He played slow. Hopefully that's due to thinking too much in his initial action.
Benjamin Franklin Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 In a word, slow. He played slow. Hopefully that's due to thinking too much in his initial action. He chased down a former WR Tannehill twice (and by the way, Tannehill outran others on mutliple occasions too). He wasn't Zach Brown fast but he was fine for a DL.
Justice Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Tough assignment going against B. Albert in his first ever NFL action.
Bleeding Bills Blue Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Had a few hurries. He's a big man, so I don't expect him to be able to run down a guy like tannehill consistently
Benjamin Franklin Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 (edited) He was a little maybinesque. The entire defense minus one guy looked like Aaron Maybin. Edited October 24, 2016 by Benjamin Franklin
nucci Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Slow is a word, but I didn't think he should have been out there in the first place. The young man just had his first NFL practice Weds. How else is he going to learn to play?
