Mr. WEO Posted October 26, 2016 Posted October 26, 2016 Yeah well, he doesnt know what he's talking about. He listed the ejectable penalties. What did he get wrong?
DC Tom Posted October 26, 2016 Posted October 26, 2016 http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000728006/article/blandino-refs-deemed-jarvis-landrys-hit-a-football-play?campaign=Twitter_atn "Here's Landry, he's going to block back toward the football. He can't go to the head-neck area of an opponent within five yards on either side of the line of scrimmage. He is going to go to the head-neck." Yeah...wait, what? You can target a player's head outside of five yards from the line of scrimmage? Does the league even know what the league is talking about?
mrags Posted October 26, 2016 Posted October 26, 2016 He listed the ejectable penalties. What did he get wrong? he didn't agree with the fans of a message board.
Captain_Quint Posted October 26, 2016 Posted October 26, 2016 Ever since Blandino got caught with his pants down on the Dallas partybus, I feel like he's in the owners pockets. Cant take him serious anymore.
Mr. WEO Posted October 26, 2016 Posted October 26, 2016 Ever since Blandino got caught with his pants down on the Dallas partybus, I feel like he's in the owners pockets. Cant take him serious anymore. was it his official title "NFL Vice President of Officiating" that gave you that feeling?
QuoteTheRaven83 Posted October 26, 2016 Posted October 26, 2016 Officials are saying it was a "football play." If I were Rex, i'd tell my WR's to set an example and do the same thing to every safety they see. Time to go headhunting boys!! If that is a football play, let's do it.
hondo in seattle Posted October 26, 2016 Posted October 26, 2016 Landry does launch himself at Williams. But he actually looks like he lets up a bit. This is an NFL athlete. Under the circumstances, he could have hit Williams much harder than he did. Illegal play? Maybe. Dirty? I just don't think so.

26CornerBlitz Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 @GregABedard What a shock: Landry hit shows NFL is incompetent and lags behind other sports on player safety http://www.si.com/nfl/2016/10/27/jarvis-landry-hit-aaron-williams-nfl-unnecessary-roughness
plenzmd1 Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 (edited) According to PFT..no suspension...NOT EVEN A FRIGGEN FINE. Just taped an interview with Jarvis Landry (@God_Son80). Jarvis said he did not receive a fine letter for the hit on Bills S Aaron Williams. Fine a guy for shooting the ball over goalpost like a basketball...but no fine for this shot to the head.....wow Edited October 27, 2016 by plenzmd1
Peter Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 If the NFL is wondering why ratings are down, it may want to look at its reaction to this event to its reaction to guys wearing the wrong socks and BS like that.
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 @GregABedard What a shock: Landry hit shows NFL is incompetent and lags behind other sports on player safety http://www.si.com/nfl/2016/10/27/jarvis-landry-hit-aaron-williams-nfl-unnecessary-roughness The NFL has gotten like the Federal Government. You all know what I mean.
87168 Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 well like KW said, if im not mistaken, the league is worried about who's dancing.
mannc Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 He should be suspended for as many games as AW misses because of the illegal hit. Automatic.
Wayne Cubed Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 Looks like he was fined, according to Rapoport https://twitter.com/rapsheet/status/791749426696056832
