Wilton Bills Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Aaron Williams is a warrior. We need more players like him. It's too bad that some of our prima donna's (Dareus, Gilmore) can't walk in his shoes.
vincec Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 If the Bills would have gotten in fights with the Dolphins after that play, we would have made a bad situation worse. As Lindy Ruff used to say, don't react... initiate. There were plenty of opportunities the rest of the game to hammer Landry.
fridge Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 On the topic of no retaliation from our players...do you think anyone on our roster will remember this when we have our second meeting in Buffalo?
CommonCents Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 On the topic of no retaliation from our players...do you think anyone on our roster will remember this when we have our second meeting in Buffalo? Why would we expect a different response weeks later? Everyone saw AW get his clock cleaned by the blind side hit and the team was emotionless. I don't expect that to change.
3rdand12 Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 On the topic of no retaliation from our players...do you think anyone on our roster will remember this when we have our second meeting in Buffalo? That would be the stealthy way to play it. Â I am fg furious about that hit. Not a the Refs, but at Landry. Goodwin took one hell of a shot. Honest injury right there. Hope both can get back on their feet asap ! Why would we expect a different response weeks later? Everyone saw AW get his clock cleaned by the blind side hit and the team was emotionless. I don't expect that to change. Players and Coaches have long memories. I am very proud they remained in control. Bills got handled today. They know it Come back stronger

If your teammate gets blindsided and sent off in an ambulance the team needs to respond. I'm not saying they should have pulled a Tonya Harding but from that point forward they should have had a fire lite under their asses. We saw none of that and quite frankly that was more embarrassing than the big fat L.
Cripple Creek Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Call it the way they do in college. Let the booth make the call, and have the ref toss him. He loses the game check. Â Great, they'll be pulling former refs out of retirement homes to fill that role.

BUt half the folks would be flipping if we had a player ejected for going after him. Â I think the loss is a seperate issue Great, they'll be pulling former refs out of retirement homes to fill that role. Well if thats what it takes. The boy shoulda been sat down by someone. Lost respect for Gase too. Â Time to load up on dead batteries.... i am old but have enough saliva still for Bryan Cox
YoloinOhio Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Call it the way they do in college. Let the booth make the call, and have the ref toss him. He loses the game check. Â But the nflpa will never allow it it is very inconsistently called in college
Bleeding Bills Blue Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 it is very inconsistently called in college Yeah true... but there are no consequences right now. U get the same fine if ur socks are too blue.
Big Hurt Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 I remember when D Hall took out Gray's knee and I wrote here that there is a wheel chair with Hall's name on it. Some teams the fish plays down the road wouldn't be as nice as the Bills and would give him the justice. Bills is a soft, polite team. They don't have a nasty bone in them.
Webster Guy Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 If Aaron was in, he picks that last tannehill duck that they incredibly took in for a TD. I dont blame darby, that was a free safety's dream ball that Tanny threw up there. Â Should have been game over. 23 gets the INT there every time.
The Big Cat Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Landry's hit was harsh. Â Calls for retaliation are barbaric. Â Grow up.
nucci Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 If Landry isn't suspended I don't want to hear that BS about player's safety and the integrity of the game by the NFL. But there will be multiple fines for players spinning the ball after a TD
BarleyNY Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Aaron does need to hang it up for long term health reasons. Personally, I don't want to see him take anymore physical punishment. I'm not sure in can take it emotionally. I can't fathom what his family feels like. Â Landry did what I saw Hines Ward make a career of. Things are changing in the NFL. A targeting penalty in the future isn't out of the question. Unlike Ward, Landry wasn't grinning ear to ear after the hit. He seemed visibly upset and concerned about Williams. Maybe that was why there was no retaliation.
YoloinOhio Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Landry's hit was harsh. Â Calls for retaliation are barbaric. Â Grow up. agreed. what are the players supposed to do? Take penalties? This isn't hockey.
CommonCents Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 I wanted the team to respond, not retaliate. I hated to see AW go down like that but I was sure the team was going to push the Fins all over the field after that hit.
ALF Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Landry looked like he really regretted hurting Aaron. If Burfict did that , well just the opposite
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 I'm surprised AW didn't see him.. Landry put his shoulder right between AWs numbers. It was big hit but was only so bad because aw had tunnel vision on the back field.
