Mile High Posted February 24, 2005 Author Posted February 24, 2005 http://wfan.com/chrismikeaudio/ these guys are great, though not much about buff. The recent interviews with Goodenow (who they tear a new a hole) and Bettman on the the nhl are insightful. 251769 Aren't they out of NYC? These two guys are on MSG? Right?
LabattBlue Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 Hey, I think Papa Joe is on Sporting News Radio. We don't get it here anymore over the airwaves, but I heard him and Arnie Spannier one day during the football season...I was under the impression that both had left, and come back to Sporting News Radio....with all the conglomerates, it is hard to keep track of what station is owned by which mega-conglomerate anymore.... You are right about Rome. I think he is really good as an interviewer, but his monolouges are so stinking repetitive, and his "smack the monkey" jive gives me a headache. I can only listen in small doses. I turn to Dan Patrick at that time. Not great, a little self absorbed, but mostly entertaining.... 251740 Papa Joe is no longer with Sporting News Radio. I always liked him as he was a little bit different. For those interested, you can listen live at.... http://radio.sportingnews.com/
Arkady Renko Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 Anyone who listens to ESPNRadio on the Internet... don't they have the worst stuff during breaks? Terrible music and the same public service ads over and over.
