Maury Ballstein Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 Sad TT will pick them apart. We got this.
LB3 Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 I'd rather they sit him now so he can get healthy.
bobobonators Posted October 28, 2016 Author Posted October 28, 2016 I'd rather they sit him now so he can get healthy. I wanted them to sit him last week and just be done with it.
thebandit27 Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 Not really surprised. An injury to McCoy was bound to happen eventually. This is true for every single NFL player.
Virgil Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 Really frustrating. No matter how great he is on the field, this is a recurring theme with him. If this is going to be the style offense we run, we need to prioritize a rb in the draft and get a solid one, not a rotational guy.

If this is going to be the style offense we run, we need to prioritize a rb in the draft and get a solid one, not a rotational guy. To be fair, they have used 5th round picks on RBs the last 2 years. One didn't work out for a slew of reasons we all know and the other is still a question mark. And I can only imagine if we used a Day 2 pick on a RB with Shady on the roster...the fire Whaley crew would be out in full force.
4merper4mer Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 This is true for every single NFL player. But 5x as true for McCoy
thebandit27 Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 But 5x as true for McCoy How so? He hadn't missed more than 1 game in any season until he came to Buffalo.
thebandit27 Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 Some more so than others. How so? He hadn't missed more than 1 game in any season until he came to Buffalo.
K-9 Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 Looks like he's out Sunday. No practice again today. Good. They should keep him out until after the bye, too. He had absolutely NO explosion last week; none. Just a mind boggling stupid decision to let him test it in the first place. Guy can't practice, guy can't play. Simple as that.
BADOLBILZ Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 How so? He hadn't missed more than 1 game in any season until he came to Buffalo. 5x is *probably* an exaggeration but "this is true for every single NFL player" is an over-generalization. When you sign an 8th year finesse RB that has been used like a workhorse the chances of injuries slowing him greatly in subsequent seasons are high.
r00tabaga Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 Will Caroll says gametime decision and expects him to play. So there's that.
3rdand12 Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 Will Caroll says gametime decision and expects him to play. So there's that. I would like the Bills to run Mike JW and Bush. I want A Lynn to game the plan for them too.
K-9 Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 I would like the Bills to run Mike JW and Bush. I want A Lynn to game the plan for them too. Yep. Anybody with an ounce of explosion is a better alternative at this point.
What a Tuel Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 5x is *probably* an exaggeration but "this is true for every single NFL player" is an over-generalization. When you sign an 8th year finesse RB that has been used like a workhorse the chances of injuries slowing him greatly in subsequent seasons are high. Oh knock it off. Hamstring injuries can happen to anyone including Tevin Coleman (23), and Doug Martin (27).
Deranged Rhino Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Oh knock it off. Hamstring injuries can happen to anyone including Tevin Coleman (23), and Doug Martin (27). They happen more to guys who are more concerned with their upcoming radio careers, obviously.
boyst Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 So glad McCoy is McCoy. Maybe he'll be back in December
