The Real Buffalo Joe Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 As much as we hate him, Brady is a shoo-in for the hall of fame. Cheating or not, him and Peyton are the best QBs of the past 20 years. Do you think his cheating, and attitude about getting caught, prevent him from getting the votes to be inducted his first year of eligibility?
ddaryl Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 unnecessary poll.. there is no doubt he is, and arguably the best ever to play the position
The Real Buffalo Joe Posted October 19, 2016 Author Posted October 19, 2016 I agree with both of you. But do the voters snub him and do the same thing they did in baseball a few years ago and refuse him the honor of first ballot, which is an extra special honor itself.
Blokestradamus Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Darren Sharper got a Hall of Fame nomination. I really don't think they'll care about deflated balls.
Kirby Jackson Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 He might be the best player ever. Yes, he is a 1st ballot HOFer. Also, LeBron James will be a 1st ballot HOFer too before that poll appears.
Rico Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Lock for the 1st ballot, and if each voter is truly honest, it should be unanimous (though it won't be, there's always a few in every crowd).
The Big Cat Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Lock for the 1st ballot, and if each voter is truly honest, it should be unanimous (though it won't be, there's always a few in every crowd). At least one voter will say no on the grounds that he was implicated in cheating. Twice.
PatsFanNH Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 At least one voter will say no on the grounds that he was implicated in cheating. Twice. Only implicated once... and even that wording was "more likely than not" lol he was cleared of ANY wrongdoing for spygate.
The Big Cat Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Only implicated once... and even that wording was "more likely than not" lol he was cleared of ANY wrongdoing for spygate. Right. Yeah. Okay. You again, huh?
PatsFanNH Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Right. Yeah. Okay. You again, huh? Me again, and I wasn't disagreeing just clarifying is all. 😛😛. I mean what is stated is easily looked up... 😜
The Big Cat Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Me again, and I wasn't disagreeing just clarifying is all. . I mean what is stated is easily looked up... Doesn't matter, it's irrelevant. The foundation of his legacy--three super bowls--were won while he benefitted from cheating. Whether or not he orchestrated it has no bearing on its impact.
Andrew Son Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 I picture a Pete Rose like future for Brady after he's found to have taken some sort of "fountain of youth" PED. He is banished from the game and never comes clean in the face of overwhelming evidence.

Whether or not he orchestrated it has no bearing on its impact. you like to argue, I was correcting your post where you said he was caught twice cheating. That is wrong. Also people will look how he did AFTER deflategate and notice he played BETTER.. heck I am wondering if that's what's hurting Rogers! The fact the balls cant be over ingflated anymore either.
TakeYouToTasker Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Not only is he a first ballot Hall of Famer, he might be the single most obvious first ballot Hall of Famer ever. If he's not a unanimous selection, it's near criminal.

I didn't say he was caught cheating. Read again.
The Real Buffalo Joe Posted October 19, 2016 Author Posted October 19, 2016 Only implicated once... and even that wording was "more likely than not" lol he was cleared of ANY wrongdoing for spygate. Spygate was Belicheat/coaching staff. Although I'm sure Brady was "Generally aware" of what was going on.
The Big Cat Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Spygate was Belicheat/coaching staff. Although I'm sure Brady was "Generally aware" of what was going on. Well he was "generally aware" of all the defense's calls which made him "generally aware" of where and when to throw the ball. So, not sure how we can make the argument that it's irrelevant.
