Williams looked firmly in the twilight of his career last year, but has showed recently that, at least against weaker opposition, he can still be very effective. thebandit27 Posted October 19, 2016 Share Posted October 19, 2016 Come on JFH, he's not a fit for the Rex Ryan scheme from what I have heard. Well, there's a bit of fairness to the idea that he isn't an ideal fit for 2 out of the 3 defensive line positions that Rex uses in a 3-man front, which is why some folks (including myself) said that he wouldn't be a good fit for the system if Rex wants to be able to put guys at any position. That's still true. What's also true is that he's an ideal fit for the "T" position in Rex's D, which is what he's playing on an every-down basis.
