McCoy runs wild as Bills ruin Kap's return to field

Colin Kaepernick's return was no match for a Bills team that is on a roll. Here's what we learned from Buffalo's 45-16 victory.

The career years for Bills linebackers Zach Brown (two tackles for loss and a sack) and Lorenzo Alexander (sack, forced fumble and pass defensed) continues unabated. This defense is going to be nasty when they get Marcell Dareus and Shaq Lawson back.

What does Rex say at the beginning where some people are talking over him - is it something about credit to the scout team, and how some guys got pissed at the scout team at practice during the week? Probably because they were trying too hard? :P

Watched the 'Short Cut' game on Sunday Ticket...

- Holy hell our blocking was good

- Stupid little mistakes seemed to keep the game close early

- Kaepernick still has a lot of talent, especially on the ground

- Related, seems like our coverage was good*, and our pass rush was disruptive, which lead to him running a lot

- * yes even with the breakdown in coverage that one play... it happens

- McCoy and Taylor are the shiftiest duo in the league

- EJ with a couple little solid plays (and one bad one), always makes me happy

- Browns with a couple stud plays to open up the flood gates for us in the 3rd/4th

- All Hunter does is catch TDs

Anyone with clif notes for what happened in the second half? I checked the box score at about halftime and it was like 13-17 or something, and then by the time the game ended we loaded up on touchdowns and held them to one FG?

Defensive adjustment? Offensive adjustment? Good bounces?

Ill find the game link for the full game later today if you need it PM me

Yeah, that's what I'm asking... why was it close in the first half, and a blowout in the second? What changed?

I agree with everyone's assessment but would add that a fumbled exchange that the nines turned into 3 and a blown coverage that the nines scored on made it seem closers than it was. The run game and defense controlled the game from start to finish.
