scribo Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 (edited) Anyone know why the Bills Radio Network (read: WGR) didn't air the players post-game interviews live? Note: They did air Rex's post-game press conference. Edited October 17, 2016 by scribo
26CornerBlitz Posted October 17, 2016 Author Posted October 17, 2016 Anyone know why the Bills Radio Network (read: WGR) didn't air the players post-game interviews live? Not sure why they didn't air anyone besides Rex. Maybe they wanted more air time for their postgame show hosts since they were changing to Sabres' pregame at 6 PM.
Dorkington Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 (edited) Had plans all day today, seems I missed an entertaining one. If anyone happens to have leads on where to DL full or shortened versions of games, feel free to PM me Edit: I forgot, I think NFLST.TV has the shortened games, so I might be able to watch that tomorrow Edited October 17, 2016 by Dorkington
Freddie's Dead Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 Boy, a victory like this is a bitter pill for that little man on the right of this picture. Yeah, YOU Sully. I mean YOU! He definitely has that "Moon River" look on his face. Anyone know why the Bills Radio Network (read: WGR) didn't air the players post-game interviews live? Note: They did air Rex's post-game press conference. Short show, had to get to Sabres pregame.
Dorkington Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 Anyone with clif notes for what happened in the second half? I checked the box score at about halftime and it was like 13-17 or something, and then by the time the game ended we loaded up on touchdowns and held them to one FG? Defensive adjustment? Offensive adjustment? Good bounces?

Dorkington Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 Yeah, that's what I'm asking... why was it close in the first half, and a blowout in the second? What changed?
voodoo poonani Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 1st 2/3, Niners kept it close. 3rd 1/3, Bills unleashed the hounds. Fixed it. The first ten minutes (3 punts) of the second half had me worried that they'd let SF back in it. Yeah, that's what I'm asking... why was it close in the first half, and a blowout in the second? What changed? SF defense seemed gassed. Typical of hurry-up Os (including our own experiments in past years).
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 Anyone with clif notes for what happened in the second half? I checked the box score at about halftime and it was like 13-17 or something, and then by the time the game ended we loaded up on touchdowns and held them to one FG? Defensive adjustment? Offensive adjustment? Good bounces? It was a big play-- the TD to Hunter--kind of changed the dynamic. Then, the bills got the ball back and put their foot on the pedal, running the ball down their throats. ST turnover made it a blowout. Defense was solid throughout.

Then, the bills got the ball back and put their foot on the pedal, running the ball down their throats. ST turnover made it a blowout. Defense was solid throughout. The play that changed the game was the 4th and 1 stuff by Preston Brown. The Bills scored on the ensuing drive with the Taylor to Hunter hookup.
YoloinOhio Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 Yeah, that's what I'm asking... why was it close in the first half, and a blowout in the second? What changed?i think the SF defense was worn out.

26CornerBlitz Posted October 17, 2016 Author Posted October 17, 2016 CBS Sports Week 6 Grades: http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/nfl-week-6-grades-patriots-get-an-a-as-tom-brady-revenge-tour-continues/ Buffalo 45-16 over San Francisco 49ers: DThe good news for the 49ers? Colin Kaepernick looked decent against the Bills in his first start of 2016. The bad news? Kaepernick doesn't play defense, and apparently, neither did anyone else on the team in this game. The 49ers had no answer for the Bills running game, which totaled 312 yards in the game. If that sounds like a lot, that's because it is: The 312 yards is the most the 49ers have given up in a game since 1958. Bills: AIf LeSean McCoy was trying to get revenge on Chip Kelly for trading him while the two were in Philadelphia, I'd say it worked. Shady tied a career-high with three touchdowns against the 49ers. It was almost as if the 49ers couldn't tackle McCoy, who rushed for 140 yards on just 19 carries (7.4 yards per carry). Overall, the Bills 491 yards of total offense was the team's most of the Rex Ryan era and the team's most since 2010. Stats that stood out Here’s a look at some of the figures from Buffalo’s big win over San Francisco that stood out Sunday. 312 – yards rushing for Buffalo45 – most points scored by the Bills in a game since 2010.7.1 – yards per carry average for the Bills100% – Buffalo’s red zone touchdown percentage on offense where they went 4-for-40% – San Francisco’s red zone touchdown percentage on offense (0 for 2)100% – Percentage of Justin Hunter receptions for the Bills that have gone for touchdowns8 – sacks for Lorenzo Alexander, who now has at least a half sack in each game this season35:11 – Bills time of possession Sunday62% – Buffalo’s third down conversion percentage on offense23% – 49ers third down conversion percentage on offense23 seconds – game clock time elapsed between McCoy’s 18-yd TD run & Woods 5-yd TD catch14 – number of years since Bills last had four rushing touchdowns in a game (ok almost 14 yrs. – 11/28/04)
