Rockinon Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 29 1st downs dude. 29 1st downs. Even Yeezus would appreciate that! I know. The stats are off the charts this game. The sack machine is still chugging with 3 more for this game. Though Von Miller pulled ahead of Alexander by a half sack. How about Time of Possession?
MarkyMannn Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 I bet Marcel is back next week.......Shaq Lawson comes back next week He better be ready to make have an impact game cause they don't seem to be missing him
PromoTheRobot Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 we have a new OC and Rex isn't calling the defense plus no Felton which likely cost us game one, so big difference since game two. Just look at G-Ro's lack of use of Felton in the past. Wouldn't matter if he was on the team well one. Roman wouldn't use him.
TANK2 Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 Nice win. Glad Miami won. Should get us to stay focused. Big test is against the Pats.
r00tabaga Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 Shaq eligible to play next week? He can practice tomorrow. Better stretch out first.
DC Tom Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 How does a win hurt us? It lowers the team's draft position, lessening their chance of getting the #1 pick and the best quarterback available. Because that's the key to being successful in the NFL: losing every year to draft a QB high. Just ask the Browns and Lions.
Kelly the Dog Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 Again with a stellar red zone defense today. It was a huge factor just like it was vs. the Rams. Rob Ryan specifically coaches the red zone defense. Hmmm...
Marty McFly Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 This is how they were supposed to beat this team. Just as good teams win ugly games, good teams also take it to bad teams over the course of the game. This. 29 1st downs dude. 29 1st downs. Even Yeezus would appreciate that! Yep! Im sure Yeezus is around somewhere hanging out under a a highway overpass with Kyle Brosfloski and his other troll buddies!
jimmy10 Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 They're still ****ty. Are you saying Lorenzo Alexander can't hit a curve ball?
Dorkington Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 It's a must-win game for us against Miami, the rest of our schedule, while not as daunting as previously thought, is still pretty difficult.
CardinalScotts Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 We beat a bad team and Tyrod still sucks Still feels good tho good teams beat bad teams....look around Rob Ryan specifically coaches the red zone defense. Hmmm... yes I know...no one wants to say the words He knows the game It lowers the team's draft position, lessening their chance of getting the #1 pick and the best quarterback available. Because that's the key to being successful in the NFL: losing every year to draft a QB high. Just ask the Browns and Lions. there are no "franchise" qbs coming out and pump the brakes on Wentz too
NorthBuffaloKid Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 A good game. Now on to squish the fish! They just beat up on the Steelers and took out Big Ben. That's a shame, since the Steelers are playing NE next week. I hate those guys!
Nanker Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 I think the big thing is they actually look like a professional football team this year........ I'm gettin' a 1988/89 kind of vibe from this year's squad. Could be the start of something big. I know. The stats are off the charts this game. The sack machine is still chugging with 3 more for this game. Though Von Miller pulled ahead of Alexander by a half sack. How about Time of Possession? Not according to The EN EF EL. Lorax is still up by .5
DC Tom Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 there are no "franchise" qbs coming out and pump the brakes on Wentz too Doesn't matter. If we don't get the first pick and draft the best QB available, it's a wasted season.
Kelly the Dog Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 Doesn't matter. If we don't get the first pick and draft the best QB available, it's a wasted season. Actually that's not true, until the next season when we draft another one, and the season after that when we draft another one, because you have to draft one every year.
Wagon Circler Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 Have to wonder what Rex/Thurman said at the half Probably said that our offense usually can't get a first down in the third quarter so it's up to us. And the fourth down stop is what got the offense going.
