Mr. WEO Posted October 13, 2016 Posted October 13, 2016 (edited) Hue Jidiot dresses Art Briles in Browns gear and slithers him in to practice. Way to keep it sad, Brownies! http://deadspin.com/hue-jackson-has-turned-to-art-briles-for-answers-1787720044 Edited October 13, 2016 by Mr. WEO

LeviF Posted October 13, 2016 Posted October 13, 2016 Love Deadspin comments: Seems like the perfect fit for the organization that has shown no remorse about !@#$ing its fans over and over.
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted October 13, 2016 Posted October 13, 2016 Ha- when he said "tremendous offensive mind" he meant "tremendously offensive mind."
Buffalo Barbarian Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 dumb browns, think that school yard crap will work in the pros. these guys are doomed for awhile.
Talley56 Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 Cavaliers win a championship, Indians in the ALCS, but we still have the same old Browns.
LeGOATski Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 Is this what the analytics told them to do?
Chuck Wagon Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 Art Briles makes Chip Kelly look like Einstein when it comes to offensive design. Given Chip's spectacular failure, I can't imagine how Art's system of having WRs completely take plays off and only having one target in a route would actually have any success. Does not seem worth the media circus at all. The real amazing thing in all of it is the mental gymnastics Browns fans can perform on themselves. "This regime trading down in the draft is totally different than the last 6 regimes doing the same thing".
The Poojer Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 i read this earlier in the week and thought it was a great idea, Briles did a great job at Baylor, nothing wrong with bringing in people that have had success to act as a second set of eyes
DasNootz Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 (edited) Not that the personnel is there any more, but didn't RGIII, Corey Coleman and Josh Gordon all go to Baylor? Maybe they planned their offense in the offseason around his system, and now need help tweaking/reworking it with the players left. Edited October 14, 2016 by DasNootz

Jerry Jabber Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 A co-worker of mine is a Browns fan and is miserable. I told her the Browns need to keep this up for two to three years that way they get top draft picks to get their team pointed in the right direction.
PromoTheRobot Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 browns need a blue chip talent. I can't think of one on their roster Pryor? But he's leaving. Cavaliers win a championship, Indians in the ALCS, but we still have the same old Browns. Don't turn into Boston, Cleveland.

Isnt that what theyve already been doing for decades?
Jerry Jabber Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 Isnt that what theyve already been doing for decades? I don't know how good their current GM is. I know that sometimes doesn't work, especially if you have a Matt Millen type running the show.
zow2 Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 Cavaliers win a championship, Indians in the ALCS, but we still have the same old Browns. As miserable as Browns fans are...they can cozy up to their NBA Championship and possible World Series trophy soon. Buffalo fans got zip, nada, not even playoff games.. We are on an Island by ourselves when it comes to being miserable. Hoping this is the year,

Buffalo fans got zip, nada, not even playoff games.. We are on an Island by ourselves when it comes to being miserable. Hoping this is the year, keep in mind that not all Browns fans are also fans of the Cavs or Indians. There are tons of Browns fans in Cbus and other areas who aren't.

I told her the Browns need to keep this up for two to three years that way they get top draft picks to get their team pointed in the right direction. They need to not make the playoffs ever... I want them to have the playoff drought record not us.
major Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 Cleveland is too dumb to understand that Baylor's system and players don't translate to NFL success. Bringing in Art won't make the Baylor players better that are on Cleveland's squad.

The Browns got the HC they deserved. So sad...
