Man, being in Upstate, I wonder how often Vic says that about the women here? It must drive him nuts...

He has always been able to coach. Calling defense was his problem.

Yes, he's a good coach and teacher. DC?, well, his track record speaks for itself in that regard.

Rob specializes in red zone packages, polishing that particular aspect... and SO FAR ANYWAYS, they have been strong there. A smaller sample size vs. no real offensive juggernauts, but successful nonetheless. Rob also coaches LBers, and they have been as strong a unit as any on our team this season.

I thought they said Dennis Thurmond was calling the plays?

Given the major disparity between situational play calling inside the red zone and the rest of the field, Thurmond is tasked with running the base defense for the team including all plays outside the 20, while Rob Ryan breaks down nothing but the offensive tendencies inside the red zone and calls those plays.

Some magic came from somewhere! Hard to argue that.... Keep it up!

I heard it was pure nepotism and Rob only got a job with the Bills because no other team would have him.

You may have even heard it from me! :). I'll admit to wondering on this one, but the LB play is amazing, so if he's back to his strength, more power to him. Who'd a thunk we could lose Shaq, Manny and Reggie, and not really miss them? Let's keep rolling!
