YoloinOhio Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 @adamschefter Big change in Baltimore: Ravens firing OC Marc Trestman, replacing him with Marty Mornhinweg, per league sources.
Virgil Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Wow. I really wanted him two years ago. I think he's done a great job for years and hope he gets another chance
YoloinOhio Posted October 10, 2016 Author Posted October 10, 2016 Harbaugh should look in the mirror just a tad IMO. His fake FG call was a joke. I'm still pissed the Bills lost to them.yup
DrDawkinstein Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Harbaugh should look in the mirror just a tad IMO. His fake FG call was a joke. Well, Rex is a D guy and fired his OC after a bad D performance. Harbaugh is a Special Teams coach and just fired his OC after a bad ST call. Maybe he's hoping for similar results?

Nihilarian Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Man, I knew this was coming as the guy just doesn't think the run game is worth the effort. 217 passes, 112 rushes and the offense is around 23rd in the league. The Ravens fix that offense and they are playoff bound for sure!
YoloinOhio Posted October 10, 2016 Author Posted October 10, 2016 I'm pretty sure they fired their OC the year they won the Super Bowl too...yes and that one was also after a loss to Washington
Joe Miner Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 (edited) The NFL is a copycat league. Edited October 10, 2016 by Joe Miner
dhg Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Is Harbaugh on the hot seat? I'm guessing yes after last year, but he's playing the Marty Mornhinweg hand. Good luck with that

Nanker Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 The Ravens team physicians must suck at what they do.
Blokestradamus Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 If Breshad Perriman or Mike Wallace knew how to wide receiver properly, he'd probably still be in his job. Such are the margins of error in the NFL.
I'm Spartacus Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 I'm surprised they didn't go with Greg Roman.
Nick the Greek Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Seemed to work for Rex.. is this a copycat move by Harbaugh?
BigBuff423 Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 (edited) Well, Rex is a D guy and fired his OC after a bad D performance. Harbaugh is a Special Teams coach and just fired his OC after a bad ST call. Maybe he's hoping for similar results? I'm sorry but I disagree with the premise of your first statement. The Defense had a bad day, because the Offense could not sustain drives...they had 2 big plays, but couldn't keep it going, which resulted in the Defense being fatigued and on the field for far too long....effect on the Defense was cumulative as the Offense had one bad call after another and failed to produce an opportunity for the Defense to catch their breath and make adjustments, IMO.
