PromoTheRobot Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Nobody is ignoring anything. Tyrod had a decent game but let's not pretend Palmer and the Cardinals have beeen good this year.Quick, move the goalposts.
dubs Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 I actually agree with the premise. Tyrod has not been very good this year, for the most part. I'm psyched we rolled off three wins, but I think you could make the argument we caught a few breaks. Obviously the Pats without Brady and JG. Today the Rams missing 3 starting D linemen. Â I'm very skeptical that TT has what it takes to be a sustainable success, but I hope I'm wrong!
Bangarang Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 This is the only rule of winning. You win the game you are playing. You don't worry about 5-10 games ahead. If you're trying to project success you do.
PromoTheRobot Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 If you're trying to project success you do.How does that figure into the standings?
Maury Ballstein Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Blaine Gabbert can manage games. Lets get him. Similar results for less money ? Maybe next year.
Bangarang Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 someone in the NFL needs to hire you as a GM. What I'm saying isn't breaking news.
The Fredonia Curse Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Out of curiosity, to all the people defending TT in this thread, if you are the Bills and we get this same type of production all year do you Take the out in the contract or move forward paying him $27M next season? To me the question isn't whether he's good enough so far, it's how much you are willing to invest in him moving forward. Like Bado said upstream, his accuracy has regressed this year and it's a bit shocking. I hope to hell he improves during the season making the decision easy because right now it's a really tough decision. What's our record at the end of the season? Just win baby.
Bangarang Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Blaine Gabbert can manage games. Lets get him. You call what he does managing games? How does that figure into the standings? What do you mean?

Like Bado said upstream, his accuracy has regressed this year and it's a bit shocking. I hope to hell he improves during the season making the decision easy because right now it's a really tough decision. Solid question. I ask you this: whats the alternative? Not sign him and go with EJ? Is cardale a better option? Â What did Osweiler get? Is TT worse than Osweiler? what did fitzpatrick get? Â After the season we can have a better convo regarding his value. It would be basically 2 seasons worth of games. As of right now i would say yes, i would want to pay him.
PromoTheRobot Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 You call what he does managing games? Â What do you mean? You said the Bills have to play in a way that projects power and I asked how that translates into winning games? You don't win projecting power. You win by scoring more than the other team. And you do that one team at a time.
Bangarang Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 You said the Bills have to play in a way that projects power and I asked how that translates into winning games? Marty McFly Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Nobody is ignoring anything. Tyrod had a decent game but let's not pretend Palmer and the Cardinals have beeen good this year. They were a botched field goal from beating the Pats* with Garappo. the difference between 2-3 n 3-2
PromoTheRobot Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 What I said is that our current passing attack is not a sustainable model of success. And I'm sure the Cards, Pats and Rams are soothing themselves knowing the Bills can't keep winning like this.
bobobonators Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 What I said is that our current passing attack is not a sustainable model of success. Our current passing attack barely has 1 average WR on the depth chart.
Bangarang Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 And I'm sure the Cards, Pats and Rams are soothing themselves knowing the Bills can't keep winning like this. Sure Our current passing attack barely has 1 average WR on the depth chart. So you agree?
bobobonators Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Sure  So you agree? What are our threats on offense? TT and shady. So if we can run the ball like we did today we arent going to pass.
Yeezus Posted October 10, 2016 Author Posted October 10, 2016 Â 52% completion rate, 2 TDs, no turnovers. Â You're basically bitching that he didn't pass for more yards or have more completions...when he didn't need to, since they had almost 200 yards rushing. So you're basically bitching that McCoy had too many rushing yards. Â So basically, you're an idiot. Â I'll save this post for future games when we aren't playing bottom 15 teams. Â bottom line he needs to start playing better. why is that so hard to comprehend.
PromoTheRobot Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 What are our threats on offense? TT and shady. So if we can run the ball like we did today we arent going to pass. And Clay.
bobobonators Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 And Clay. Clay has gotten more involved lately, yes.
Bangarang Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 What are our threats on offense? TT and shady. So if we can run the ball like we did today we arent going to pass. So what's the plan? Hope you can rush for 200 yards every game?
