NoSaint Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 (edited) What was it?stanton was the only qb from the entire draft class still in the league. i looked at the years before/after out of curiousity and 2008 gave us Matt Ryan and Joe Flacco (good, not GREAT and certainly not compelling guys) 2006 leaves us with jay cutler and charlie whitehurst. when looking at the ratings dip -- i have to think not having the manning-brady-brees-rodgers-big ben-rivers showdowns from this run of draft classes in prime time is part of the issue. thats a 3 year run of guys that are 8-10 year vets at qb and the best it gets (really the only thing out there) is a flacco ryan match up? woof.
